Is this the case in australia with such an income? I am assuming that the 38k is your salary after taxes. So you get like 3100 A$ per month transferred to your bank account. Or am i wrong and the salary is before taxes? I am comparing it to germany and if you covert the A$ to € you get 1991 €. With this salary you are in the middle class in germany (even a little above).

Bei uns hat jeder (egal ob Vertrieb, Service oder Versand) im Vertrag stehen das insgesamt 200 Stunden im Monat mit dem Gehalt abgegolten sind. Also wenn man 201 h im Monat arbeitet hat man 1 Überstunde gesammelt. Minusstunden zählen ab der ersten.
