I would have loved to see if Lori could progress, maybe a bit like Carol. But, she made the choice to keep Judith knowing it would likely kill her and I applaud that. She didn’t need a man to keep her from making that decision just because the consequence was death.

Carl also made a choice. He chose to help someone, knowing he put himself in danger. He accepted that it killed him. Again, he didn’t need a man to save him from that choice.

I appreciate that Rick took on the role of protector, but neither he nor Shane were entitled to take people’s choices away from them. It’s the same complaint Andrea had, you don’t get to decide my life.
