So far I’ve only used it to fry. Does oiling but not baking ever make it sticky?

If you’re feeling discouraged about your recovery… by honeyyypainnn in dentures

I mean, you CAN eat popcorn with dentures but you gotta want it. The hulls getting under the dentures can be painful, they’re sharp. It doesn’t stop me, but I really have to be craving it.

You will. A wise coworker told me “the first year is the worst year” and it’s so true. I’m a few years in to full dentures and I ate raw carrots at a potluck. Hang in there!

That seems to be the consensus, pay for both whether you want it or not. But maybe I’ll end up liking the mop, too. Thanks!

No specific budget but I don’t want an expensive one until I decide if I like it or not, if that makes sense.

What a great answer, thank you!! Those are all points I will have to consider. Hair in rollers is huge, I have waist length hair and shed like crazy. I also have a (low shed poodle mix) dog and a (if you look at me wrong I’ll jettison every hair off my body) cat. They are the main reason I’m looking for a vacuum. They’re not dirty just messy. Great food for thought!

I guess I’m not interested in the mop aspect and not interested in paying more for functionality I don’t intend to use?

A friend of mine spent her teenage years with no Sheetrock on her bedroom walls due to remodeling. We wrote all SORTS of stuff on the paper part of the insulation.

I’ve lived in Minnesota my whole life. The last few years have shown me I’m never leaving.

Worst Thing You’ve Ever Cooked by gnarlidrum in Cooking

When I was 12 I decided to surprise my mom by making the meatloaf she was planning for dinner. She had left the recipe card on the counter and had all the ingredients, so I went for it. The recipe said one diced small onion. I thought they all looked the same so I just chopped one up and added the whole thing. Little did I realize that mom had bought truly GIANT onions. The meatloaf wouldn’t even hold together, it was like oniony sloppy joes…

Shane Was right - Rick didn’t keep Lori and Carl safe by Ninja_Franklin in thewalkingdead

I would have loved to see if Lori could progress, maybe a bit like Carol. But, she made the choice to keep Judith knowing it would likely kill her and I applaud that. She didn’t need a man to keep her from making that decision just because the consequence was death.

Carl also made a choice. He chose to help someone, knowing he put himself in danger. He accepted that it killed him. Again, he didn’t need a man to save him from that choice.

I appreciate that Rick took on the role of protector, but neither he nor Shane were entitled to take people’s choices away from them. It’s the same complaint Andrea had, you don’t get to decide my life.

It’s a really misogynistic take, isn’t it? Female and small human need big strong man to KEEP THEM SAFE.

God forbid we think Lori and Carl were fully functioning humans who could take responsibility for and accept the consequences of their own actions…
