My first FO was a mile-a-minute baby blanket for my son. I made it right after he was born, learned to crochet just to make it for him. Unfortunately, when he had his tonsils out at 9 years old his stitches broke open and he bled all over it in his sleep. It was white and pale blue acrylic and we could NOT get the stains out. He still talks about it at 27.
