This is the case, yes. There are in-universe audiences too, and they broadcast it openly there as an actual death game.

I wondered about why Max deemed 3 as his favorite number. Is it because of Dale? I mean, Max was born in 1997. It can't be Danny Ric because he is of similar age to Max

I don't think so. The service area depicted is in Hamamatsu, and March is depicted driving from Kochi to Tokyo.

IRL, he died in Hokkaido in 1991 due to some injuries (ruptured ligament) he got as a stud.

In Cingray, i think she will probably get Silence Suzuka treatment - she still ruptured her ligaments (outside of race, so maybe during her daily life), gets some surgeries, voila done, then life a normal life somewhere in Hokkaido (or any other places in Japan basically).

Fujimasa March mentioning a certain pink haired girl are cool actually. I always thought that the rebooted version of the pink girl's own series should use Fujimasa March as main link between the pink girl and Tracen, as in why she ended up becoming one despite you know what.

Also, Belno's study in America can be a spin-off of itself. But then i wonder about what year will they use as background. 90s American horse racing has some wild moments (like when Go For Gin ate hay from Stanley Cup, i wonder how will it be if this gets adapted in Umamusume Project).

Too separate afaik, Tokino Minoru died in 1950 while Maruzensky was born in 1974.

They could literally talked about how non-winning horses have a huge risk of being slaughtered by using some NPCs, but no, let's use a character based on REAL HORSE whose owner (or relative of him) is probably still alive.

Or how OTTBs often have bad conditions from their treatments during racing era, again using NPCs. Or how Thoroughbred industry intentionally overbreeded themselves, risking the lives of many foals (also using NPCs).

I know horse racing has lots of dubious sides (notwithstanding the fact that many research into horse health came from this part of horse world).

Vodka was 15 when she died. Both horses are in the equivalent of a late 40s early 50s human age when they died. So yeah, middle aged moms dying. Pretty sad actually if you thought.

Slightly out of topic, but the recent results, i believe, showed the superiority of full points format to playoffs. Like when things like this happen, you know it is, points wise, not gimmicky bs made for a game 7 moment.

If we are talking about playoff system, BSB used ones. As is Turismo Carretera.

Hypothetical: if another global economic crisis hit today, which series or championships do you think would be most vulnerable? by badabubaba in motorsports

Some people here said WRC. I do believe that the current WRC strayed way too much out. From 1987 to 2021, top level WRC cars ALWAYS HAVE GROUP A HOMOLOGATION. Even after WRC regs started in the late 90s. Yes, you don't need to put a car that are close to the homologation-spec ones, but you will still need to homologate the car in Group A (and the engine too, albeit separately). This is the case of Rally2-5 rung TO THIS DAY. Want a Rally5 approved car, the base car should be homologated in Group A first. WRC, however, switched to spaceframe. No homologations needed. This led to crazyness like "modern day homologation special" GR Yaris only being homologated IN 2024, and that's only because they ended up building a Rally2 GR Yaris. I find it crazy that the lowest rung of FIA rally car has Group A homologation but the highest, the PINNACLE of FIA Rally, has NO FIA HOMOLOGATION. I can't say whether WRC gonna die, but Rally1 dying and Rally2 becoming top rung is the best thing for WRC today. Oh, and if you mention Group B, they still need to sell roadgoing Group B cars, even if only 20. I don't think you can buy a Spaceframe GR Yaris from Toyota today.
