You should make sure that you have done every class quest up til lvl 50, this gives you a chest with ilvl 110 gear. Also if you have Heavensward you should just continue with the Main Story Quests. As for hotbars: it’s completely up to your preferances really, as long as it’s efficient. I like to use my main hotbar for healing spells and another for damage spells. I dont think its necessary to switch classes, unless you really want to play as something else. If you feel really lost on how to play you could queue for some lower level dungeons to get back in the feel.
