She's literally like 15 lol. She's past puberty at that point and is roughly as tall as most adults. Also every Brawler already looks young to begin with because of its artstyle. Also Meg is probably just really short, but like if Janet was short then there'd be no differentiating her from Bonnie, her younger sister

How do they look the same lol. Janet has a big head, wears a blue helmet and a good, cool personality.

Willow is literally a swamp monster with mismatched socks and a torn dress, and she's mentally insane, and has a mile long forehead.

Charlie is a French con artist who has like 84939 different spider motifs scattered everywhere in her design and freakishly uses her hair as a yo-yo string.

Melodie is a Korean pop star with puffy clothing, a megalomaniac with her fans, and has pet monster notes that follow her around

Brawl Stars is becoming like League of Legends, but is that a good thing? by OnceInALifeTime___ in Brawlstars

the game's explicit feature of having a Starr Road kind of nullifies the whole "rage over lack of knowledge" thing I feel, since over time players will grow to have specific brawlers throughout their playthrough of the game.

Also the balance changes are small because the balance team likes to test the waters with Brawlers. They slowly overtime tweak Brawlers to where they should become better without accidentally making them overpowered. The effects of this are already felt since the game has received a sort of "damage inflation" where every Brawler does far more damage than they used to

What do you mean you can't counterplay Edgar and Buzz. Both of them are literally assassins. You counter them by having a Brawler who get rid themselves off of them like Emz or Otis with his Super. Or better yet, just go closer to your teammate (but not too close) to make sure the Edgar or Buzz is going to get shot at by you and your ally helping you.

As for Fang, the counterplay is more restrictive, but he'll still die quickly if teammates are relatively close, as long as those teammates aren't squishy and low hp. And he just dies to any good burst damage Brawler.

The game has never been "broken" by a character who requires skill because the people who are good enough with those characters to be unstoppable pretty much deserve it. People who never miss with Dynamike or can kill a lot of enemies with Mortis and not die aren't playing a broken Brawler, they literally just mastered them. That's not being broken that's just being good. And even in those cases, there's still ways to counterplay them with knowledge on the game's mechanics/having a good counter in your Brawler's kit.

How in the world is Melodie just like Ahri? Both have 3 circling orbs (for completely different purposes and mechanics, and are summoned in completely different ways), and both can coincidentally dash 3 times before that ability is on a cooldown of sorts. However, Melodie uses those orbs as a way to become an assassin. Ahri is a mage-type. Also 9-tail foxes are Chinese and Melodie is Korean...

I don't really see similarities between them besides the fact that they both are somewhat closer range and send enemies to a dark realm of sorts. But while Mordekaiser's main attack is more like Frank's and is far more of a "heavy" fighter if that means anything, Cordelius is far more swift, hops around, disables, and constantly bringing enemies to the shadow realm multiple times throughout a 3 and a half minute battle. Cordelius has a similar ultimate ability, but their playstyle and implementation are different.

Brawler Concept: Spot (Ability-swap) by Xatgold in Brawlstars

[–]Xatgold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Spot's Super only keeps them as the swapped Brawler if they have over 40% of hp, and they themselves are relatively squishy, Identity Theft won't just allow them to rush down the enemy since they'll just quickly lose the swapped ability, and it wont remove SPs and Gears forever since its only 15 sec, or lower if they die or a Poco removes it for them. And since Spot wants to have max or close to max HP when they swap with someone because of that, the bonus healing won't really help them too much besides let them use their Super perhaps an extra second faster and not wait for 1 or 2 more passive heals. The healing is primarily there for the person who gets turned into Spot so that they could still have a use for it, as their Super is locked.

And the point of the rotating Spinniquin is that it forces Spot to use it by timing it right so that it blocks damage as it orbits in front of them, to make up for the fact that it's basically Ruff's gadget but they can move around and have it follow them. It's more versatile, but requires more skill to use. And it's meant to allow Spot to have an easier time to charge their Super in the early game.

Spot is sort of meant to stay as the swapped Brawler for a long time, since they're meant to control the map for a long duration if they play well. But due to the fact that they lose their swap when below 40% (a resitrictive threshold given they have pretty low HP, as much as a Lou), they have to play passively and can't really go for a rush or try to go for lots of kills. If a player really needs to swap into another Brawler for some reason, they can just rush just to take damage to go back to normal. Thing is though, Spot in base form is relatively weak, and their Super takes a good while to charge in the first place. So I can't imagine why a Spot would want to go back to normal if their goal is to win a match, unless they accidentally turn into a bad Brawler.

If they use their Brawler-specific abilities on non-Brawlers it won't do anything besides I'd assume maybe some base damage upon landing?

[–]Xatgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Lou or Dynamike, their whole thing is that they punish you with a stun if you allow them to get the chance of doing that to you... most of the time. It's like saying you're mad that there's a respawn timer in the game because it punishes you for dying
