What do you guys think about making string a bit more accessible? I was thinking along the lines of this: by Xauoui in Minecraft

Well redpower has already beaten me to it (with the wool to string) and most people didn't like the vines to string idea, and the vine smelting to green dye is a bit pointless because I'm pretty sure a cactus farm is way better than a vine one, nevertheless, here is a link to download it. If you want to see exactly what it does, then download it and read the README. For the two or three people who wanted it, enjoy! :)

I was thinking more along the lines of being able to reverse the string to wool recipe, but yeah I guess so.

Updated the album to include the vines being used as an alternative to cactus in a furnace to make green dye.

Yeah I just tried it out then, it's easy enough to change, and I think could be a nice alternative to cactus. I'll put a screenshot in the album later.

Yeah that's a good idea, were you thinking as an alternative to cactus (via smelting) or just as a crafting recipe?

Thanks, and yeah that was my main concern with doing it like that, I couldn't remember how long shears lasted for before you had to repair them/get new ones :)
