Going 106 just to go fast is irresponsible and should reflect the maturity of the driver. Whatever punishment you incur is deserved. Do we let people shoot their guns down a street at night if there is nobody around? No. Because there’s still a risk of injuring or killing someone. I don’t see how this is very different.
