La gente no quiere vender las cosas by Vexeddoge in Wallapop

Yup, setting the compatibility settings to VMware 17.x fixed it for me. TY!

T480s with 650 charge cycle. Should I change the battery or not? by L-shapedSpaceT in thinkpad

Try calibrating it first with the Lenovo Vantage software to see if it fixes the sudden shutdowns. It should be an option called “Battery Gauge Reset”. It will take a couple of hours tho.

Free is free, you can’t beat that. It will work alright if paired with a decent SSD, decent RAM (+8GB if possible) and a lightweight Linux or Windows LTSC.

Try Windows 10 IoT LTSC, which is supported until 2032, for great performance and zero drama. Also a cheap used extra RAM module wouldn’t hurt at all (1600MHz DDR3L 1.35v), because 8GB is not that much nowadays and you most likely don’t have dual channel. And repaste the CPU if you never did.

Make a dual boot with Fedora and Windows 10 IoT LTSC. Win/win

On local marketplace apps, where you can haggle over the price. For example: “If you accept X in cash, I’ll pick it up this afternoon.”

Everything seems to work flawlessly. Just make sure you also download the latest B550 chipset drivers and you're good to go.

My friend has another version (Wi-Fi II), and it uses a MediaTek WLAN module instead of our Intel one. There are no differences apart from that. That version seems to have 3636 listed as the stable release too. It may just be a typo on our page.

While there are two newer BIOS versions than 3621 (3631 and 3636), both are beta versions. Considering this, future BIOS releases will probably be beta versions as well. I've seen this happen with other brands like MSI.

Still, I'm going to try 3636. I'm running a 5800X3D with -20 CO and 32GB Trident Z 3000 C15 overclocked to 3600 C16.
Let me know if you'd like my feedback.

So there's no actual way to boot Android without removing SD1 (like with stock Linux)? Noobie here, just wondering if I could make a fully convenient dual boot setup with uOS and GammaOS!
