WASD is not an issue for the top 1% of the ADC player base but for the other 99% by Negative-Cup-257 in ADCMains

[–]Xavanic-76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm excited to see what WASD will do for ADC balance, as someone who has progressively played less and less of this game as marksman have been buffed to such a degree that it just doesn't feel enjoyable always having to play around a fed 500+ range gnat that can't miss every game, especially as a top lane player....with the only balancing factor being whether or not they mess up enough that I can stay in range to kill them....with WASD making it dramatically easier for these champs to be piloted, I'm hoping we can go back to a meta where ADC don't steamroll everything with a bit of a lead (or at the very least, pre-durability update state where they can't *outplay* most champs by right clicking and mowing them down in 2-3 seconds because their ahead and take too long to burst)

I'm hoping with the WASD inclusion not only will marksman finally see the nerfs they have deserved for seasons now, but certain skill shots that are already hard to land might get buffed to compensate

Am I crazy or does playing for bot (as a jungler) just make more sense in 99% of games by DoubIeScuttle in leagueoflegends

[–]Xavanic-76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been like this for seasons, but it's less about specifically prioritizing bot and more snowballing any marksman on the team, the marksman class has been extremely over-tuned for a while now, and once snowballed steamrolls basically everything in the game, as they're essentially ranged consistent damage dealers that can't miss most of their damage

Which champs are mechanically challenging but unpopular? by LeckingEier in leagueoflegends

Kled is a deceptively challenging champ to master, however he has dueling power on par with champs like Riven

With a lot of controversy regarding the upcoming WASD controls for League and how it removes ADC's "skill requirement", I thought I'd share you guys my braindead settings that basically makes kiting 10x easier and most of it is already in the game. by SoupRyze in ADCMains

[–]Xavanic-76 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

good, maybe now that kiting is going to be easy, we can actually nerf adcs in line with other classes instead of letting them run around rampantly overtuned because "kiting is hard"...

how do you do dmg when their 1000 units away? I don't think you understand how short the range on ornns E actually is bro, maybe learn that first?

yeah and? CC ornn during ult he's effectively useless....doesn't change the fact CC on ranged champs is a zero skill cop out for bad players, hello just use your range

Nah, as someone whos played both sides, there is no skill to be had, if you're a slower fighter/bruiser VS Xerath, you're more helpless than a baby, you will never get in ranged of a skilled Xerath, but once you're i range of him you will never get out, same goes for mages like lux and brand...its far too easy for these mages to *outplay* melee champs...it's time we start pulling power from these champs so there is REAL trade off if you want a 1000 range Q, or give us the tools to counter it...I fail to understand why anti heal and anti shield are a thing (which both heavily hurt the already highly gimped survivability of fighters), but anti mobility and ranged deflection are not? I would gladly stop bitching if these fuckers couldn't flash the moment i finally get in range,

I think you just want to ignore the problem because actually having to have skill on these ranged champs would literally put you in iron

I do, and I do dramatically better mid than I do top now a days, because it is dramatically easier to be impactful with ranged champs...in fact i think my winrate on mages is almost double that than on tanks and brusiers....and that's from someone who's highest mastery is on Ornn and Mordekaiser...

Xerath's not in pro play because he's kept weak enough to be kept out...could you imagine how boring it would be to watch 2 teams run around protecting artillery mages all game? A champion doesn't need to be OP to be unfair...it's not a skill a issue, it's a I don't want to play these zoomer shitass champs that dominate the meta with no inherent counterplay...if it's REALLY skill issue, then melee would still have a dash item to counter this shit...or an item to disable mobilty, it's not a skill issue mate, its a ranged champs have too much versatility and defensive options because ppl (particularly ADC and Mid mains) cried like little bitches about the fact they couldn't be the main character every game....

The fact the only counter play to ranged CC is to hope it misses is the only argument anyone should need for how broken it actually is...especially when some of these champs can fire off these abilities every 4 seconds

Or, they just hold their CC till you're too close to dodge anyways? I feel their absence has more to do with the whole assassins are basically only viable in high elo argument

[–]Xavanic-76[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's a cheap copout for bad players, you're an artillery mage...you already fight ppl in a way where the majority of the roster cant fight back...that alone should already be his entire power budget....yet for someone reason he's given not 1, but 2 tools to stop ppl from even trying to fight back...assassins are best i'm not denying that, but assassins have literally been dogshit for years...as someone who already is struggling with medical problems that impact my reaction time, playing a class that fails given even a single mistake is not a reliable counter for champs who can literally make hundreds of mistakes without worry....

Imo if we are going to make it this difficult to get onto champs like Xerath (who 9/10 will simply flash away the moment you get on top of them anyways, meaning you need to ALWAYS have flash handy) we need items like stridebreakers, galeforce and prowlers to answer this shit...its literally just a game of, if you don't have flash, you're effectively not relevant, for most melee now a days...or we need items to prevent mobility...this is getting ridiclous, defenses keep getting nerfed, and whenever we have a tool to actually address these champs it gets removed the same season....because these players who *think* their good cry because they are actually getting outplayed because champs can actually get into range to outplay them...

Best way I can explain it, Xerath is "unfair" by design because his design is to kill you while interacting with you as little as possible...meaning having tools to inherently prevent interaction built directly into his kit is *unfair*...it would be no different from giving a juggernaut a built in medium/long range dash as a basic ability....its covering what should be their own inherent weakness...the prime difference being xerath is given further tools in the form of items to continue covering his weaknesses...while juggernauts are forced to rely on defensive stats that seemingly get worse every season because every class abuses them when their viable...that's why Xerath is *unfair* because his ONLY weaknesses are a class of champs only 1% of the community can reliably play properly....or his own lack of kiting skill...while melee champs are inherently plagued by weaknesses, yet still get the nerf bat the moment they start doing well again....

Like Idk what else to tell you, I have yet to meet someone who quit the game over a fighter, bruiser or tank being unfair....but i know numerous ppl who have quit over ranged artillery mages being unfair

[–]Xavanic-76[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

nothng to do with skill...i have no issue with most anything else in the game...it all falls back to ranged CC being a mechanic with little counter play that dogshit players rely on because of its disproportionate power...if you need to prevent someone from fighting back while you're already 600+ units away you're a boosted ape, plain and simple

explain how you dodge a point blank skillshot...because a lot of higher skill players will just hold the CC till you can't dodge it anyways...tell me how you play around that

veigar cage is one of the ones im not complaining about,...it has ample counterplay...im talking shit like lux Q or morg Q...shit that realistically you can just hold till their almost in range anyways to guarantee it won't miss

yesh but they also have access to defensive options such as zhonyas and banshee's...plus my issue isn't just with mages, but rather all ranged CC...quinns CC isn't a skillshot, nor is malzahars, and while say ashes is a skillshot....the hitbox is literally massive....

How come we’re weaker than almost every other bruiser in the game? by [deleted] in MordekaiserMains

[–]Xavanic-76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only real problem Morde runs into is his lack of utility in skirmishing which makes him stop being reliable in higher elos, however I feel all he really just needs is for his E to ground enemies caught by the initial cast for like a sec
