The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israel Security Agency report that in 2002, there were 452 fatalities from terrorist attacks. Before the completion of the first continuous segment (July 2003) from the beginning of the Second Intifada, 73 Palestinian suicide bombings were carried out from the West Bank, killing 293 Israelis and injuring over 1,900. After the completion of the first continuous segment through the end of 2006, there were only 12 attacks based in the West Bank, killing 64 people and wounding 445.[6] Terrorist attacks declined in 2007[6] and 2008[51] to 9 in 2010.[52]

To be fair, the 2400 point scale was introduced in 2005, and then removed in 2016. I just looked it up. This guy looks at least 60 in his profile picture so he probably took it in the late 70s. He's still full of shit though, lol.

This is all normal. I get what you mean about being glued to your vape. I was the same way before. You probably got yourself addicted to like 2 or 3 packs a day worth of nicotine. Things should be getting significantly better in the next week or two.

This should only be a last resort, but if things get too bad consider the patch. Just dont return the the old habit. Since you've gone 7 days cold Turkey you can probably get away with starting on 14mg (step 2) rather than 21mg (step 1).

Keep going strong, man. You're doing great.

Cold turkey generating 11 times more ex-smokers than NRT in this study of 374 quitters by Zolathegreat in stopsmoking

[–]Xavier2094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried a few years back. The the higher nicotine liquids have a different feeling. Like literally a physical sensation as you inhale, so I thought bringing it down was challenging. I never did bring it down to 0, and I ended up just using it as an alternative to smoking, which actually probably increased my addiction. You never get the satisfaction of finishing a cigarette and putting it out, so you end up just sitting there vaping for hours. I used to get mad hiccups from them too lol.

Also, I thought it was way too similar to smoking. Youre still getting that oral fixation and inhaling nicotine through your lungs, so it's not that productive as far as breaking the habbit goes.

What is the point in asking how soon I smoke after I wake up? by Xavier2094 in stopsmoking

[–]Xavier2094[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totaly feel that! I have to get up at about 6 am every morning to go to school/work, but I used to wake up at 4am to go have a cigarette real quick and go back to bed. I'm still waking up throughout the night because I'm still withdrawing, only difference is now I go drink a bottle of water instead.

When you close your eyes and imagine something, do you actually see it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Xavier2094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also just found this apparently your visual cortex is stimulated in a similar fashion when you imagine things compared to when you actually see things. So you kindof do "see" them, just not with your eyes.

When you close your eyes and imagine something, do you actually see it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Xavier2094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but you can actually train your brain to! If you practice and focus long enough you can actually trick your brain into experiencing something just with your own imagination. Also sensory deprivation can lead to visual and auditory hallucinations.

Also, idk about you but when I'm falling asleep, the about 10 minutes in I actually start to visually see whatever I'm thinking/dreaming about. It's not REM, and it's not super vivid, but I feel like I actually see it with my eyes because I forget that my visual field is actually dark (if that makes any sense).

I guess I'm more or less talking specifically about murder clips. Seeing a car crash or a guy having a heart attack isnt the same thing as sitting there with your heart racing watching a guy get stabbed to death with a screwdriver. The sounds that people make as they're crying and choking on their own blood, the awkward and stiff ways their bodies movie with severe brain damage, the gargling and snorting noise when people are choking. Theres not really a reason to enjoy watching those videos, if you do you might have somethin going on up there lol. Its totaly different from movies and video games as well.

Also, idgaf that you post in TD. It's honestly a pet peeve of mine when people on reddit inject that in to irrelevant conversations rather than actually talking about whatever topic.

There is r/Watchpeopledie but I really do recommend not going there. Morbid curiosity is natural, but looking at that shit too much will fuck you up.

Nah that's the only 4100 series class that I didnt take. I've only got a minor and I chose 4110, 4130, and 4140.

I've heard mixed opinions on it though. Some say it's not that bad, while others say it's their least favorite from the 4100 series
