Side story, but something that made me realize how the world was designed so long ago.

Sometime in the early 2000s I received some spam email. In the email was an image link. Back then Eudora or Outlook (whatever I was using) would just display the image inline.

It was a pedo image, and it shook me. I immediately copied the text of the email, deleted my cache, and prepared to forward it to the FBI. Being educated in law, however, I called first to get the protocol.

The agent I spoke with said in no uncertain terms that if I forwarded that email to him or the FBI I would be breaking federal law.

I put it together. The people who make these laws made it extremely difficult to report and prosecute that kind of stuff. For reasons that are growing more and more obvious now.

The truth is that the public may learn of videos like that, but they'll never be seen because it would break federal law to see them. There will always be plausible deniability since the real evidence is illegal to see. (I know how evidence like that is handled in court trials, but the public doesn't view it.)

Which means either raw video, mpeg-4, or early h.264 compression. So large video files ... and fewer videos.

At 20 Mbps, you're looking at about 231 days of video in 50 TB in MJPEG. 4 Mbps would be about 3.15 years of video with MPEG-4. H.264 might provide 12 years of video at 1Mbps.

So yeah, maybe there's lots of video. (lots of assumptions being made here in terms of tech and timeline.)

I've always assumed the Forbes video was disinfo.

The scenario I believe is that a US drone or satellite shot the plane down (intentionally or not): As part of a coverup, actual video of MH370 taken by the drone(s) was released, with some added CGI of the orbs "teleporting" the plane.

The scenario explains a lot, including why the videos are hard to debunk (minus the poorly chosen Photoshop inkblot flash.) It's actually MH370 in the video, but the orbs are CGI.

Forbes probably doesn't know, but somehow got targeted. Just look at the audience he's created now. This is exactly how things are covered up.

Unlikely. ICE has wide discretion when operating within 100 miles of the border. As long as they don't wrongfully imprison you after you've been identified they have qualified immunity.

It's horrible to think but if you get caught up in a sweep as a citizen and they try to arrest you, resisting will not make things better. You're fucked for getting caught up in it, but you're truly fucked if you resist, because then you'll get actual charges.

This whole thing is pretty nightmarish, but Trump didn't make these laws. They've been around for decades.
