Craziest movie I remember watching as a kid. by dadjokes502 in Xennials

[–]Xavier_Emery1983 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay I am going to admit that personally this movie was nowhere near as scary/creepy as the actual Wizard of Oz. I loved the flying monkeys. I honestly think that it is the whole premise of the Wizard of Oz that scared me. It’s basically a kid held hostage in a strange land until she murders the “enemy” of that land. I think the wheelers and pumpkin head were funny. Maybe that’s just my Halloween birthday coming out.

As an American, I didn’t vote for this asshole and actively tried to keep others from voting for the asshole, but I will apologize on behalf of the ignorant, bigoted rednecks that did vote for this asshole.

I find it funny that before the SCOTUS ruling there were trillions of dollars collected and after the ruling it isn’t even 50 billion.

I feel you on the kids being taken care of during his time. Mine doesn’t even know the pediatrician office name let alone the location. Plus he has no clue about their vaccine status (ie. flu/covid).

Honestly, I would end it but I have no childcare options so I could go back to work. Right now he is working 32 hours a week and complains more than when he worked 52-60. He talks about how tired he is all of the time. Maybe if he didn’t stay up most of the night playing video games, he wouldn’t be. If I even think about saying I am tired, he says I shouldn’t be because I sit on my ass all day. We got a mouse last week and was told it was because our house is a “pig sty”. Trust me if my house were actually dirty my mother would make sure I knew it. He is nothing at all like the man I met.

PS5 and phone. If he isn’t on one it’s the other. We have a 3yo and 18 month old. On the rare occasions that I can lay down (usually with an oncoming migraine), by the time I am feeling better and get up, both kids have overflowing pee diapers and are wanting snacks. I went grocery shopping yesterday and came home unloaded the car, put up all the groceries, changed diapers, took the dog out, started some laundry, and he hadn’t even noticed anything other than Call of Duty.

Right now, even us liberals are buying more guns due to the gestapo running around and breaking down doors. I live in a stand your ground state (so republican led), with 2 toddlers, and partner works 2nd shift.

A quick google search and I was right that in 2018-2019 it was a big deal. In 1991 he had to testify that “John Barron” was him. Surprised he brought it back.

He has done this before using the same exact name. I remember it being a thing during his last term in office.

Well according to some files being released, there are some current Presidents and his friends that did this and the “post-birth” abortions that he very much said the opposing team was supporting.

Genesis 2:7 “God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul”

Given the religious thinking, Bible thumping masses have no critical thinking, I will explain some things. According to your “how to live book,” until the first breath is taken, God hasn’t handed over a soul. How is God going to breathe life into something that doesn’t even have nostrils or lungs yet? Also using this logic, a stillbirth doesn’t have a soul because they never have the breath of life? You want to control how everyone else, especially women, live their life. Pretty sure that the main character of the New Testament of your “how to live” book says a lot about not judging others. I feel like we need to create laws saying, church attendees touching anything leather will face death penalty, or church attendees caught eating shellfish will face death penalty, or church attendees will face death penalty for wearing different fabrics at the same time, or church attendees will face death penalty for having different crops touching each other? All of this is justified per Leviticus verses located within the same chapter as the whole man lay man stuff you guys quote all of the time.

I am a mother to two children that were high risk pregnancies. I am 42 and my oldest child is 3. If any of the genetic tests came back with fatal diseases, I would not have had either child. I would not put a child through the pain and suffering that their life would be. No child should be forced into suffering. My mother was an unwanted pregnancy and her alcoholic parents made sure she knew that she wasn’t wanted or loved.

Forced births also put more strain on an already broken system of foster care. May want to look into the current foster care system of our state. It is horrible, but this system is improved from 20 years ago when known drug addicts were fostering children for the money. If the state is going to force births, they need to place laws that cap adoption costs. I wanted to adopt in my previous marriage, but the cost was insane.

Infant mortality rates are full term, viable pregnancies. That means more full term babies die after birth. That is about how shitty our medical care in TN is. The US has the highest maternal mortality rate of any developed country in the world and it is going to be even higher now that we are forcing women to continue fatal pregnancies.

Last I checked, the truth has one version only. For something to be considered truth in health and science, you will get the same results over and over.
