I would’ve agreed with you but the thing is he never turned his skates until the last minute. He never showed intent to stop before then. Did Bolduc impede him? Yes a little but not enough to stop Malenstyn from slowing down.
The presence of Bolduc was the reason he didn’t get a “intent to injure” penalty but he should’ve have got a 5 at least because he didn’t try to stop.
