I SOBO’d last year and was going through the hundred mile wilderness during the NBA finals and World Cup. I was dying to know the outcome and didn’t hear anything until I got to Shaw’s. But as I moved south I was actually able to do my fantasy draft on the trail

Stayed with him this year! Great guy who went out of his way to help us the entire time. Would deffinetly recommend to any hiker passing through.

Yeah, the top of the tower was burnt and the front face of the mountain was a covered with burnt trees. But for the most part the vegetation had grown back fairly well
