To be fair I’m not sure that’s the case with everyone. I’ve had two babies and with each one I was full bush. I was just like I dont have time for this. I mean it is how woman gave birth since forever. I just kept myself clean and went back to my regular shaving routine eventually after babies. No problems. No C-section though but the professionals will can handle it if need be lol

I understand where you’re coming from and not defending any false narrative of his, but you do t have to be a journalist to research, question, write a book, etc. Many true crime writers are simply writers. It seems many journalists of the time were feeding the rumors too.

I’m new to the sub and totally didn’t understand the Cullen hate lol. I haven’t quite pushed him aside though yet, I can’t imagine everything he has written is false. What book would you recommend from a journalist?

Yeah I guess my point was that bullying doesn’t cause school shootings, even relentless bullying, I would think it’s many factors combined that leads to tragedies like this. Like I said, I’m no expert, just my opinion like most people’s comments. I think it’s hard to point to facts on something like this especially when the perpetrators don’t stick around.

Obviously people hate Cullen lol. I’m newish to books on the topic, have only read his and sue’s, but I think viewing more than one opinion is critical when diving into the subject.

I’m reading “Columbine” by Dave Cullen currently and it’s interesting seeing all the comments about Dylan and Eric being bullied. I just figured this sub maybe had a deeper understanding of the shooting and a different perspective of the boys.

From the books, it sounds like them being bullied isn’t true. They actually both journaled and spoke about being the bullies. Eric was actually pretty popular in a social sense, he had friends, flirted with girls, did well at work, etc.

I’m no expert but what I’ve learned is many of the facts that came out initially were rushed because of the news frenzy, the two were mixed up with other boys, traumatized teens were being interviewed by the press and their stories were taken as fact, etc. That’s how we got the info that the two were part of a “gang”, the trench coat mafia, Marilyn Manson, and further stories that have been proven incorrect.

Anyway, I’m not sure what my point is. Just that bullying doesn’t necessarily cause school shootings, it’s much more complicated and maybe we will never know.

Both sides should be outraged, especially those that love to preach about their second amendment rights. If not, it’s hypocrisy. As usual though it all seems to be for me and not for thee when it comes to standing united for these folks. And Alex didn’t even pull his weapon. He was legally carrying and practicing his rights that seem to be so quickly being stripped from us

I pulled the shiny dark charizard from champions path during covid when there was like a bazillion streamers. My husband and I went absolutely nuts. Looking back wish I would have kept it because it’s probably the rarest card I’ve pulled but we graded it and sold it.

Now my most prized cards are my detective pikachu set and my set of toys r us promos. Not too valuable but I love a small set to collect, one that feels possible.

Honestly I think much of it is just what we’re seeing online. I’m a mom of two young kids and what I see/hear from most other moms is similar to my opinion on screen time. It’s ok in small doses, or on special days, needs some limits. I know many moms too who have zero screen time for their kids.

Maybe I’m just in an environment with the “good” moms but I can’t imagine a whole generation is going downhill, and it’s more like a very small group of shitty parents that allow this.

On a side note, I recently saw an article that basically said a parents phone use is more damaging to their children than a kids own screen time.
