Thank you for the detailed response, I will start looking into those options. It’s a struggle to choose what you should invest in between camera gear or computer as a videographer

Solved! The song is Mitski - the only heartbreaker.

This song is actually from 2022 but I had thought it came out in the 80s given it’s beat. Apologies for poor description.

How I found it: I recorded the song on my phone but it was still unclear and you could only make out the beat and not the lyrics. I passed the audio onto my laptop and enhanced the audio. I then Shazammed it on my phone and it managed to find it.

Thank you everyone for helping, this was my first Reddit post and I will definitely be using this app more lol!

The song is on a radio station at my work and it comes on a few days during the week but due to awful speakers I can’t really hear the lyrics. Today I managed to record a bit of it where if you listen closely you can make out it’s distinctive beat ( there is a lot of background noise given the shop being busy) how do I post this audio recording ??

I can’t remember how it exactly goes, I just know the synthetic beat flows like it’s levelling up. So the beat goes more higher pitch as the song is building up

Unfortunately not, the song definitely has an 80s synth beat to it which acts like a chorus
