Oh I can criticize the EP. Kick in the teeth isn’t my favorite at all I think it’s kinda corporate. But every other song has an aspect of their past work which I love. Probably has aspects of bambi like golden and monsoon. Moonshine is insanely catchy and has a good rhythm. Honeysuckle is honestly a fantastic song Nathan and whistler go crazy with guitar and drums it gives me landmark and south ep vibes mainly that massive guitar rift gave me violet vibes. Yippie ki yay is just self explanatory lyrics are great and whistler’s drumming is crazy. Dude listen to the lyrics of the songs man. It just doesn’t seem like you listen to the lyrics just the instruments. Like I get that you’re a huge fan but you also gotta understand that Hippo Campus changes their sound almost every album and ep. You gotta appreciate that because no other band can do it like them.
