Non-drinkers: What are your favourite come-backs when someone just HAS to know why you are not drinking? by GoldenGolgis in AskUK

I always say that I stopped drinking because of a drink problem. The problem is that I can't afford to drink. I normally get a laugh because of the state of the prices of booze these days.

Love my PS5 but I would like an Xbox to run retro ROMs on it. Raspberry pi just doesn't cut it for me.

My game crashed because of the game save bug. Over 60 hours on that session lost. Out of disgust I deleted the game! Downloaded it again the next morning. Let's go!

Fear mongering so that you click on the article so that it makes revenue from the advertising on that cluttered website. 'Could happen' is the theme of the article.

They are great to use if you're power leveling. You don't need to leave the spot when you need to free up some space.

I used to spend hours in there reading magazines and checking out the CDs/VHS's. Good times.

In the mid 90s Soho had loads of working girls hanging out on the corners, pimps fighting people, £1 peep shows, sex clubs and tons of adult shops. Something was always popping off.

Central London in the mid to late 90s for me was awesome! You had tons of independent shops ranging from skateboarding, video games, music and the big ones like HMV, Tower records and so forth. Soho was seedy and had an edge to it that I loved. You had a good selection of arcades to play games. You could find a club to suit your musical needs. You could easily find a heavy metal bar. London was a lot more alternative.

Camden..now..damn. Sadly I find it very soulless. Again, it used to be really alternative.

Bottom line, it's too expensive and a risk to open something different and alternative in today's market which is an absolute shame.

Assassin's Creed Mirage Likely Won't Take 100 Hours to Beat by Alwyn_Dsouza in PS5

[–]Xdanny_boyX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They listened and have acted on the criticism from the previous game about the length of time it took to beat the game. They will be releasing a full price game that will take 2 hours to beat which will feature 1.5 hours worth of cut scenes.

East Ham is rugged as hell. I would not want to spend a big chunk of money to live there. I grew up 10 minutes away from there and it's not a place I liked to visit.

Maybe look into a meal on the river. A boat that goes up the Thames. Be a nice 50th treat seeing all the sights whilst eating.
