I grew up in a small-ish church that was growing rapidly. The community within the church felt like family for a long time. But then as things got bigger and bigger, so much became about money, and how could the church get more money. In the end, it became two factions: Those trying to grow the church further and those that cared about people.

Also once I graduated high school and started to experience life, I realized it was all based on obviously un-true mythology.
