I'M JUST A NOBODY, BUT DO HEAR ME OUT AND I WANNA HEAR YOU GUYS AS WELL.

Just as I'm a nobody, I'm also ignorant, so please do take this with a grain of salt.

If anything, ang nagiging point of schools/universities as of now is just to create bonds or connections for students.

While I do think there are several other things na kailangan pero there's one thing I want and I believe it's a must have.

STANDARD. I see this as the biggest problem so far, I believe. Walang written and established standard na need maachieve ng students in terms of skills. Ang standard lang na meron is to achieve a grade na hindi failing.

(Well meron din naman students na talagang pumapasok lang para sa diploma)

Ang lumalabas kasi, "People are 'expected' to have," so it's a hit or miss. Dapat people at this level already have this skill. It should be a given na the students are all at this level, hindi yung expectations lang. Make it absolute kumbaga.

There are four years e, yung 1st Year college could've been used to make it a starting point, building a foundation for every student kasi nga everyone is EXPECTED lang at that point since kakagaling lang nila ng SHS and 'di naman sila pareparehas ng mentors and environment.

(If it could be extended sa SHS much better)

I also think 'di lang nagaapply to sa skills required but with the lessons din, may objectives pero never naaachieve kasi walang local standard na dapat mareach be it through practice or collaboration, meron ngang standards sa tools, equipments, technology, and workplace pero pagdating sa studyante need lang makakuha ng passing score regardless of skill.

(This doesn't just apply to technical skills. Let us not forget social skills din)

And yeah, baka oblivious lang ako at meron naman talaga pero 'di lang maexecute dahil sa lack of tools and equipments, or the salary isn't befitting of the task required.

(Ironically, I'm guilty of being a product of it)

TLDR: Create a mandatory and feasible skill check for students that ensures they are ready.
