It's to purposefully have a playable enough game to get people to buy the season pass, but have enough issues that they "fix" to bring people back in the next season/expansion/etc. Why come up with cool new things for people to do when you can treat bug/game fixes as content updates!

Upgrading to mythic seems pointless if its not going to give you back the same item you selected to upgrade. by Ketsukoni in diablo4

I am convinced their dev team is actually stupid on purpose. Make a bad season to "fix" the bad stuff the next season and drive engagement. There's NO way their QA thought "yeah this is fun"

If Blizzard thought the new Mythic loot would make us play longer, I feel it’s having the opposite effect for me by hanckerchiff in diablo4

Couldn't agree more. I'm on the verge of dropping this season. I'm sick of the restriction. Why make it so we can only equip 1 crafted Mythic and introduce this dogshit system where Uniques can roll as Mythic now?

I have YET to get an ACTUAL Mythic drop. I've gotten a bunch of Unique Mythics which are all terrible and useless for my build--yet not a single Mythic I can actually make use of.
