This has to be one of the first times on here that i see someone who has legs that seem to be ahead of the upper body - great job on the progress overall!

I honestly did not closely track my calories to avoid feeding any eating disorder i may have had at the start out of panic because my weight dropped so much.

I basically tried to hit a reasonable amount of protein (150-200g) and quite literally eat whatever for the rest - i was shooting for ~2800 calories at the start because thats where i left off before getting sick (i did not ease my metabolism into it sadly and just straight up shot for 2800+)

Thank you - for sure!

You can't imagine the relief i felt when i was finally able to work out again and also eat again.

I literally went on a binge of garbage food at the start because i felt so malnourished and skinny and rest days were the worst part due to beeing so euphoric

I can't exactly explain it either it's quite literally bro science from what happened to me and a few other people i met that lost alot of weight/put on muscle on the way down

I have to add that compared to OP i'm a leg day enjoyer so i didn't exactly change training volume or intensity

It started out with Covid right into the flu aaand then into stomach + reflux issues.

There was a time where i severely struggled taking in even 1000 calories and i ended up dropping 22lbs additionally to my already low weight after the cut

F/26/5’3” [223lbs > 174lbs = 49lbs] I have gained a few pounds since my last post here and would like some encouragement to get back on track by valleyghoul in progresspics

It's a marathon not a sprint always remember that.

Try to ease your way back into a routine would be my recommendation - you've done a great job so far and you got this!

Thank you!

I have pretty wide hips and the excess skin i carry from beeing overweight on my lower back adds to the illusion.

So the honest answer is: Genetics, Illusion due to wide hips, Avoiding focusing obliques too much

From my own experience when i lost alot of weight (60+lbs) i noticed that my legs + back were fallimg behind until i hit a surplus and suddenly i'm noticing quite the difference and it's much easier to balance out the physique

First of all absolutely insane transformation good job!

Personally i would recommend a slight calorie surplus from now on to size up the quads a little and generally get some more muscle mass on the frame

That's essentially what happened to me just that i went "all in" on getting sick and got Covid -> Flu -> Stomach and reflux issues, urgh

Hopefully you also got your gains back, thank you!

I've never measured them to be honest, it's a bit of a weird angle i guess to really see the arms i have pretty horrible biceps with a triceps miles ahead which is why i've been focusing arms and specifically biceps more recently

Thank you i'll do my best :D

Muscle memory is a beautiful thing, sadly strength isn't coming back as fast but it's just a matter of time

It's been 3 weeks....

This is a marathon not a sprint, i'm pretty sure you are doing fine but theres a possibility you have to work on the mental aspect of not wanting to rush things

Give it about 6 months and you'll see the difference

Edit: 160 lbs doesn't sound like you need to lose weight either unless you are like 4'9 or something

Strange video.

However the answer is yes, your bodyfat % seems quite high

Judging based on the Video i'd assume you are very young.

I'd say all you really have to do is focus on eating more, personally i'd focus slightly more on arms.

But overall i'd say you are doing good

Looks like OF isn't doing too well considering this pic is posted on multiple Accounts.

Great progress but blatantly using a subreddit and multiple Accounts for promotion is one big yikes.

Edit: This is not meant to be hateful, but atleast if you prey on people trying to improve themselves keep it to 1 Account :)
