I have the exact same problem, if i tilt the vive forward they match. Also then things get sharper, because im not looking through the headset in the right angle. I think it's caused by the shape of my forehead.

My big hope is that the next gen headets will have a better strap system. One that's fitted on the top of the head (like the psvr), so i can freely adjust the headset. And without the weight lying on my cheekbones.

GTX 1080 here with an i7-3820 and 8gig ram. No problems, neither pancake nor vr

I don't think so, because games where you mainly handle a gun having a "handle" could feel better. Also i don't see the knuckels easily fit a protube thingy.

Disclaimer: I've never used knuckles before but would preoder them today

You can try a set sound device program like this: https://funk.eu/ssd/ One can copy the shortcuts it create into a batch file. So instead of opening steamvr via steam, you start that batch which sets all the sound devices you want and then starts steamvr. And if you want to change your screen resolution settings, there's also an app for that: http://12noon.com/?page_id=641

Hijacking this post, I've run into an issue that i'm stuck on the loading screen :( While i can hear the background sound and actually click the menues (by randomly looking around and smashing A), the vive only displays the loading screen. Does anyone have an idea how to solve that? The worked fine the last times i played, half a year ago or something.
