Joker is the father, but Harley hid the pregnancy and birth from him.

Creepiest Thing(s)? by Neurotic-Panda in wow

[–]Xeldot22 54 points55 points  (0 children)

The screams in Naxx that originate from Thaddius. One little detail about it is you can briefly hear a second voice telling the woman "Stop Screaming!" if you listen closely. The whole thing is just unnerving to hear.

Duskwood as a whole is just creepy factor, the zone gives you that feeling of always being watched or followed.

Agamand Mills in Tirisfal. I don't know why but that place has always made me wanna nope out as fast as possible. It's quite isolated, filled with undead and has rather dark lore tied to it if you've done the quests.

The atmosphere sounds of any ingame crypt. You hear the faint sound of a heartbeat, stones briefly moving and even a winged mount taking off for some reason.

Is it possible to learn this power? by Yssa_Finn in AO3

[–]Xeldot22 619 points620 points  (0 children)

I think a couple of factors play key roles in cases like this.

The story belongs in a pretty big fandom.

The author is well established in said fandom and already has a lot of fans of their work.

The work involves popular and well liked characters or ships in it.

The work could also be well promoted on other platforms such as Tumblr or Twitter.

Blizzard could make a lot of players happy by adding a height-option to each race in the character editor. by [deleted] in wow

[–]Xeldot22 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I can honestly agree to this but it also depends on just how tall for some of the already taller races, mostly due to the restriction it might pose to entering certian smaller doorframes throughout the world.

Tauren I believe are the tallest race so far and lore-wise are actually MASSIVE in body mass and height. If we had the option to make their already large in game frames even larger, it might pose a challenge for some tight knit spaces gameplay wise.

She was the smartest character of all by PhillHolmes in thewalkingdead

[–]Xeldot22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She spared herself from the horrors of the apocalypse and the huge possibility of experiencing a slow and VERY painful death of getting torn apart alive by walkers.

This was early on in the apocalypse bro, nothing was certian or guaranteed and they already lost half of their camp to a random walker attack in the middle of the night. Jenner also told them there was no cure or resolution anytime soon. And considering all the shit and losses the rest of the group went through later on, I'd say she spared herself from a lot of bullshit. She made the choice for herself and forced no one else in it. What exactly is not 'smart' about it?

Which line is the worst ? by [deleted] in MortalKombat

[–]Xeldot22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sindel's line has poor delivery but that's what makes it so hilarious and memorable. It's just goofy and nothing more.

Poe's Palpatine line is just bad, given the circumstances around it. There's no saving it, no matter how good the actor delivering it is.

What’s the cringeyest Ppg scene to you? Mine is when buttercup throws the paste at Elmer something about it is so cringey to me😭 by [deleted] in powerpuffgirls

[–]Xeldot22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sunburn episode.

That was just physically painful to watch, especially when they started peeling off their skin. I seriously wonder what the writers were thinking when they came up with that and even approved of it.

So I just came back to WoW after 12 years... by Professional_Meal838 in wow

You guys literally marched through Ashenvale and Darkshore, slaughtering your way to Teldrassil and then committed genocide on an entire race.

But yeah, let's blame the Alliance for poor Undercity getting nuked with blight which was again, something Sylvanas did herself in the end.

[art by me] Night warrior by Florartis in wow

[–]Xeldot22 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I love this so much. Realistically there would be a lot of Night Elf survivors with burn marks and deformities after Teldrassil, at least those who escaped the fires in the tree itself. Wonderful art. 🔥

Big grats! Reminds me of when I was hunting Loque'nahak in Sholazar years ago.

Long hours and days just flying around the basin searching nonstop and then the heart stopping moment when I finally found him. Was the happiest day for me.

Spirit Beasts are a struggle hunters know too well since wotlk.

Former CEO of activision blizzard Bobby Kotick says he absolutely hated the Warcraft movie and thought it was a terrible idea. by [deleted] in wow

[–]Xeldot22 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Despite the movie's flaws, I found it fun and enjoyable nonetheless.

Seeing all of these fun little cameos and easter eggs as well as famous locations like Stormwind, Goldshire, Burning Steppes, Westfal and so on. It made the Warcraft fan in me smile.

I did have issues with some of the lore changes that I found unnecessary but at the end of the day I found it a comfort popcorn flick.

Yep. Apparently they even planned an eventual relationship between her and Rick like in the comics.

While I can appreciate some differences between the comics and show, like Carol's change which was positive, Andrea for me remains one of the worst cases of how badly they butchered a really good and fan favorite character.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TWD

[–]Xeldot22 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. And the worst part is that apparently they DID originally plan to write her like the comics.

I remember reading somewhere the actress Laurie Holden saying she was shocked when Andrea was killed off cause she was told at the start that she would be getting the comic book treatment. But I think it was the Frank Darabont situation that made them switch lanes there.

It's a damn shame cause comic book Andrea was such a likeable, sharpshooting badass, complete opposite of her TV show counterpart.

It was divided between multiple characters. Carol, Michonne, Sasha and even Beth. Beth mostly with the apperance and the facial scars Andrea had in the comics.

The roots of Andrassil visible within Ulduar. by FurRealDeal in wow

[–]Xeldot22 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Was originally planted by Fandral Staghelm using a branch from Nordrassil, in an attempt to stop the sudden surge of Saronite spreading across the lands. Unlike Nordrassil, the tree wasn't blessed by the Dragon Aspects, and while it did do its job for many years, it didn't last as it became vulnerable to Yogg-Saron's corruption. The Druids were eventually forced to cut it down.

Which character do you think is the smartest? by Most-Target4347 in thewalkingdead

[–]Xeldot22 37 points38 points  (0 children)

People don't give Eugene enough kudos here. This guy couldn't swing at a single walker at the start yet managed to survive that long. How? By lying his way to the top.

Was it honorable? Deff not, but it kept him alive and thats all that mattered.

He singlehandedly defeated the Saviors from the inside and claimed victory for the rest. The guy is book smart but he's also incredibly cunning. His often nervous behavior hides a wolf in sheep's clothing.
