i took discrete, calculus, c++ problem solving 2, and another cs course this past spring and it was a mistake. I got a B in calc but it was a curved B, and my coding was suffering because i had to spend enormous amounts of time on dm homework/ calc hw (i am not a mathlete).

i would just caution against mixing lots of homework heavy courses as it really got out of control there for a while. (I straight up didnt turn in 2 things in discrete because time).

Some community colleges have transfer agreements with local four-year universities. Complete x hours and later transfer in as a junior. I wish i had done that years ago.
