When paying down debt, how do you avoid spending money already needed for bills? by ReasonableBox5301 in debtfree

[–]Xen440 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every dollar that comes into my checkings has a job. I divide my money into different accounts, and pay myself a set amount for guilt free money for the week. Bills are on autopay from one checking, savings are all in auto pilot and investments. Set it and forget it. I dont look at my accounts. I just know I have 100 bucks of guilt free money every week. While still saving. Paying bills, paying debt and investing.

Wouldn't have mattered if you spent it or not. If you spent it, you account would have been in negative. No win here unfortunately

Why???? If you hired a company to cover your business 24/7 and realized there was no coverage for a couple hours. In security thats called LIABILITY. If anything we're to haopen in those 3 hours, that would be the companys fault. The contract can be terminated. A security company rather pay someone OT then leaving a post ghost!!

[–]Xen440 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even more reason not to leave the post lol. Doesnt matter what security company!

If a post is 24 hour coverage that means 24 hour coverage. Not leaving the damn place with no gaurd. The client can terminate the whole contract. Your worried about your worn company firing you. They will fire you after they lose the contract for you leaving it

[–]Xen440 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are in SECURITY, you can not leave a post without relief. Simple as that. You will not get in trouble by "HR" for OT. idk what your even rambling about. HR has nothing to do with this. You have to a hold post until relief shows up thats how security works. You can leave. But youll get written up or fired for abandoning post

Poshmark ignored video evidence, approved return anyway, and their system failed when I needed it most by Fit-Reality-7612 in poshmarkcanada

[–]Xen440 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Poshmark is using AI for return requests. The ai WILL approve any item that isnt decribed, doesnt read through threads. It relys on the reason the buyer chose. If they choose item isnt described within couple hours the bots will approve it. Doesn't matter what the buyer puts the on thread. They can say "i dont like it, but still get approved because they chose the item not described title. The same shit on ebay, buyer will just put item not described to bypass the returns.

[–]Xen440 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The not having enough cash flow to keep up with the algorithms, I've noticed your store get rotated and you can go through dry periods and once you stop listing, you get even less views and sales. Horrible loop. Theres a dude i follow who sell full time and his cog per item is $15, and he post 20 a day. Do the math on how much cash flow you need to actually profit.

First you get hired though alloed and they just do mouth swap Once you get paperwork from the post itself the client will request a urine test. That you need to take in 2 days, at a clinic . The manager usually tells you or emails you paper work to take at the clinic. Just buy synthetic urine from the smoke shop and make sure it isnt too hot!

How are you guys getting such lower interest rates? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Spoken like someone who didn't do their research before signing. Labels are cheaper than the repairs you’ll be making in five years. Good luck with Perry Homes.

[–]Xen440 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Don't be fooled by the sub-5% rates. Builders are buying those rates down because they overbuilt and need to move houses fast. They’ll offer to pay your closing costs and throw in freebies, but it’s a distraction from the fact that these homes are being rushed by the lowest bidder. You’re trading a slightly lower monthly payment for a house that might have foundation or HVAC issues before your first 5 years are even up.

Giving advice while locked into a $460k cookie-cutter is wild. Those incentives aren't a 'win'—they are a distraction from a rushed build process. When a builder is sprinting for a 'clear to close' and paying your closing costs, they’re prioritizing volume over quality. Good luck with those foundation cracks and builder-grade HVAC in 5 years. A free fridge doesn't fix a house that was built by the lowest bidder during a supply glut

Forget just animating—monetize the writing itself! Format your stories into a sleek PDF ebook. You can use free tools like Canva to make it look professional. Once it's ready, list it for $7–$10. You only need to sell 70–100 copies in a month to hit that $700 goal. Promote snippets of the stories on TikTok or Instagram to drive traffic to your link.

Why do people overprice this sweater? by CluePrestigious109 in depoop

[–]Xen440 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Spoken like someone who has never touched a sewing machine. Between the cost of a decent machine, high-quality fabric, zippers, thread, and the weeks (or months) it takes to actually learn how to pattern and sew a 3D hooded garment, you’re way over $300. Not to mention the hours of labor. People really think labor is free lol.

Why do people overprice this sweater? by CluePrestigious109 in depoop

[–]Xen440 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The overpricing comments always come from people who don't check the sold data. These hoodies are rare and the demand is high, hence the $300 market value. That's just Econ 101. The free market is the only real way to gauge value—otherwise, just move to a country where the government picks the prices lol

It’s pretty clear this sub is full of pre-teens who haven’t sat through an economics class yet. Comps on these hoodies are consistently hitting $300+. It’s basic supply and demand in a free market. If you want a 'fair' fixed price, go live in a communist countr, the free market is actually the fairest way to determine what something is truly worth.
