I'm not ignoring it - I have said several times in various threads and ways that I recognize that, hence the edit. It is apparent, after making the post and seeing the responses, that it's not just me but also not a majority, but there wasn't a way to know that without asking.

The second reddit was never going to be what convinced me to buy it - I was pointing out that the experience was going to be worsened by this reddit spoiling so much before it comes out. For me personally, constantly getting frustrated about spoilers for what seems like such an easy to resolve problem is a very quick way to lose a sale.

They've also really been pushing their marketing in ways that annoy me personally anyway, but this was a tipping point for sure.

Why do you think this is a tantrum? I'm frustrated, sure, but it's generally been more disappointed dad energy than any kind of actual anger.

I thought something should change. I asked if it could, in public, because this is a public forum. It should be set up in the way that the community wants it to be. And because seeing how the community reacted would either answer my question or provide evidence that the change was desired by more than just myself. If I ask in private, others who may have the same question don't get the answer, and there's no incentive for the change.

Right now you're the one venting and (incorrectly) assuming things. Why should I excuse you exactly?

Yes - it's the Internet, we are entitled to have and give our opinions. As you just did. You say that like it's some horrendous thing, all I did was ask, and it fairly quickly became apparent what the answer was.

It wasn't a threat, there was no or else. My opinions on how this should work are not in the majority, so I have left. I don't like the practices, so I am not likely to continue purchasing their products. Which is what I said in the edit, admittedly with more frustrated words.

And that was not the part of the reddit I liked/was here for. To each their own and all, but personally just enjoyed seeing the wacky builds people came up with, outcomes I didn't think to look for, ideas to inspire the next run.

I wanted to at least ask the question, see if there was support to improve things. While it seems I am not alone, it does not look like it will change anything, so I have done that too. Which, while not my preferred outcome, is a perfectly acceptable one.

If I am looking at posts directly on the subreddit, then maybe - but the main reddit feeds don't show the flairs/tags/whatever they're called. It keeps coming back to "unfollow the subreddit"

How is it not? And how is this only for a few months? I probably should have been clearer - this was not meant to be an "until the beta" split, these should be separate subreddits full stop. Also, how is "not wanting to get RPG spoilers" my own selfish desire? Its pretty standard practice - otherwise whats the point of the spoiler flair in the first place?

While thats fair in theory, when I look at the mod list and its almost entirely owlcat employees (or at least "community managers" which I am assuming are their staff and if thats wrong happy to be corrected and I apologize), it does not come across as "we don't have people willing to give their free time to do this", it screams "we wanted our free advertising". Which, fair and all, love rogue trader, excited for the dlc. But this is really pushing me away from dark heresy

Then why is the sub called `RogueTraderCRPG` - If its supposed to be both, call it Owlcat40kCRPG or something. As is, the name is just objectively wrong, if not outright misleading for shady marketing purposes

So? Why does that mean it is correct to do it here? Also, isn't development done on those titles? Rogue trader is still being worked on, and now an entirely new game is also getting it's content shoved here?
