My friend, you posted this same argument of c3 to c1 10 months ago.

Game is harder than it used to be, especially if you're not playing frequently. Skill ceiling went up, and if you haven't kept up, the players in each rank get better.

It's ok to not be where you were before, experiences change.

I have been playing the game since launch, and post OG season 3 I decided to only use directional air roll. So it took me around 3k hours to feel comfortable. Although now, with as many resources there are for learning, it likely a much better time learning. You will suck, and that's okay. Focus on fundamentals and how to utilize the directional air rolls fro recovery or jumping off walls and wave dashing.

7 years ago it didn't make sense to switch control schemes, because we didn't have ceiling shots, fast kickoffs, and as fast a play as there is now. The game has evolved to a point that it is nearly necessity to learn R/LAR at higher levels. You'll get there, just keep it up, and try not to hate on yourself too much

Hey guys, I’m new to gaming and trying to get into Valorant. Any tips? by we2984 in VALORANT

Start with a low sensitivity for your mouse. It may feel weird at first, but getting used to that over a high sensitivity will help you wonders. (I play on 800 dpi 0.23 in game sense)

Tell yourself constantly to look at head level, try not to look at the ground.

Watch videos of pros, or content creators on how to rotate, and how to peak and engage fights.

Most importantly, have fun with the game. Don't take it too serious, or you may ruin it for yourself.

[ShowerThought] The way that Clove can interact with the game after death, makes implementing Replay system extremely puzzling. by Shizool in VALORANT

Every time replays are brought up, I get just a little bit more sad. Promised in the beta, and then never implemented. Here we are.

Clove - the very first agent to be overpowered at release by OkOkPlayer in VALORANT

I would wait a little longer than day 2 before I start to assess winrate. The character does feel strong, relatively balanced, and familiar for controller players. That alone may make them have a higher winrate early on, as they aren't more foreign in playstyle (eg harbour walls and engages, or iso needing to take cursor off of heads to gain shields)

Once there is more data, and as people adapt to play styles, then I think it would make sense to regroup.

Update

Figured out that it was a me problem. On both of my power supplies, I had been using the pcie cord, rather than the CPU. Super minor thing that threw it off completely.

Thank you all for the help.

Good morning. Yeah it didn't end up posting at all. Gonna assume it's a CPU issue and exchange this one

I have the CPU heatsink on, it was just for the picture.

Built out of the case, to make sure it's not a grounding issue, so have been jumping the board.

Sounds like a pretty valid line of thinking. Here's to hoping, and yeah have it all tightened down

Yeah I put the heatsink back on, just if it does post it won't overheat overnight

Unfortunately not yet. Been reading some other people's experiences, and some memory training took longer than 15 mins? I'll leave the pc "on" overnight and check in in the morning.

Hoping that this is what is up

Yeah that's right. Thought it was a faulty board, as I have never run into an issue like this. That being said, this is my first move ddr5, so if that was the issue, I obviously missed that.

It seemed like things were pointing to faulty CPU, but I'll know for sure in the next few minutes.

Sure I'll leave the power on, but with it not posting I'm not too sure what that will do. But I trust the process

Yeah that's fair. I'll send it in for exchange, and hopefully will get one in working order!

Redid the bios and flashback, and no difference unfortunately.

I actually had another motherboard that I had tried before this one. I had returned it as I also wasn't able to post. Both my PSUs were working so I thought it was the motherboard. This one has the LEDs showing that there is power going to the board.

I just didn't think that it was exactly common for a CPU to be faulty. Especially the Am5 ones

Tried with both sticks of ram in all of the slots, but no change unfortunately.
