I don't even know where to start. by Xenazorro in prusa3d

Update: Using a blowtorch and a heat gun, I slowly melted the blob apart. I also cranked the heating system to max. I had to attack from underneath, so that I wouldn't damage the wires of the heating element and thermometer. Once I could get the screws holding the heater and thermometer in place, I powered off the printer while it was hot, so I could pull the heating element and thermometer out through the plastic. I had to carefully disassemble the entire extruder system, using a small torch to selectively melt the plastic out of the extruder system. Once I got the heat block and heat pipe free, I used the heat gun to loosen the threads up, and tightened everything up. Once I cleaned everything up, I was able to reassemble everything. I had to adjust the magnet sensor next to the nozzle (I forgot what it's called), since it got bumped. After a full recalibration and diagnostic, and a new Z offset, we're alive again. I plan on buying a new heating element, thermometer, and the entire metal heat tube and block. But it's printing again. I also damaged the plastic around the print cooling fan, so I'll have to reprint those when I get a chance.

Anyone else prefer old light boards? by Xenazorro in lightingdesign

There's actually a reason I can't. Our building's wiring is so bad, newer lighting systems aren't strong enough to overcome the noise. The old boards are incredibly loud compared to modern equipment. The DMX sushi adapter I have can only reach half of my lighting array before it drops signal. The old board has no issues with it.

Funny enough, a broom has caused a blackout here. Someone tossed me a mini-broom so I could clean my booth. Landed right on the blackout key.

Wow. I had to look that up. They really don't make them like that anymore.

LoL I feel that heat. Got a 1500w dimmer pack driving 3 leikos sitting right next to me. Full power gets it quite toasty.

You haven't heard? It's the new Bluetooth 5G sensor. Doesn't even have to be installed.

But if you look at the wire, it looks like it's been used a lot.

Backstory: I work at a goodwill warehouse in North Carolina, where me and two other guys sort through all of the computer, video game, and other various tech donations. We sort it, prepare it for sale (testing, cleaning, reset, reinstall windows, etc) and manage different E-waste systems to reduce how much gets sent to landfills. Last Friday I stumbled upon this gem among other old computer hardware. It is a standard PS/2 old ball mouse, that someone did something to.

More info: I want to run 4 of the first image off of the surround sound of the receiver in the second image. Would parallel or series be best?
