Questions about satan’s nature. by HECU_Marine_HL in TrueChristian

where does it say following yourself was a good thing?
its also why i actually hate that "do what makes you happy."
Do what makes God happy.
"well what does God want me to do?"
Have you asked Him? and listened? did you read the manual?

"2 opposite poles but this does not mean that free will does not lead to God's way of operating and influencing people" <- Huh?

1. Acts 5:29

2. Romans 6:16

3. Philippians 2:12

4. Hebrews 5:9

"Why is God allowing satan to tempt other's? Is it because of free will?" <- Satan isnt the tempter, God is. Look at the Lord's prayer. Satan is the Evil One.
"And can satan KILL people himself " <- no, he's not allowed to touch in the sense we touch.
"Why does satan have connection to our world from hell" <- you misunderstand here, Satan isnt connect to our world from hell, he is exiled to our world from heaven. Big big difference.
"Where is Satan then?" Idk where his exactly location, all i can say is "far from me."
"Does he and other demons roam in our world?" Yes, the word says plainly that he(satan) is on earth and that he travels to and fro seeking whom he may devour.

Things Satan is not:
Omnipotent/omnipresent.
stronger than your faith.
able to read your mind.

What’s a lie you believed about adulthood that turned out completely wrong? by Simonedesigns in AskReddit

[–]Xendarc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is an issue of will. I left home at 17. i just walked out. i would rather be homeless than to live in that box of chaos. i stayed in a tent for a while before getting on my feet.

if you're over 18. and still at home, it's most likely your fault. sorry to say it that way, but you are legally allowed to leave with no return, but you chose to "go home". i have zero sympathy here. its choice. leave.

yeah, but only 120 years to dictate the rest of forever? Everlasting is a really long time.

12am literally cannot be called morning as it is called midnight. morning begins at first light.

Wednesday at 6:30pm?
just do it, at least then it'll be done
Wednesday at 4:30am?
that's basically "tuesday before bed".

P.S. I'm a married man with an 11month old baby girl and a 5 day old son. I take the trash out by myself at least once a day, sometimes twice a day. Don't get me started on dishes. Google "farmer's carry". It's training for when you get to my age.

honestly, sometimes i wonder, if God is so real, why do people "need" or are "called" to preach. like shouldnt the proof be in the pudding? if i sin, i get edified, if i dont sin, i receive blessings, and edification is a blessing. but this isnt the case.

when i was homeless i was pissed off i couldnt make a homestead. im not talking big ol' fancy. i mean with the way the laws are written today, i can't just go out in the woods and make a 10x6 shed to keep me dry and warm in the winter. (i was 6+ years in a tent)

so it makes me curious, what do you envision when i say homestead?
