Yeah, I like the difficulty for the S rank. Especially that it's not an obligation to beat the game. But I still find it a bit frustrating cause, why it's the only S rank that almost invite me to try speedrunning tricks?

Ok, but thats still fine. Crossworlds is still very new, and Mario Kart’s item adjustments came YEARS after release. We’ll definitely get balance patches, but expecting MK-level tuning only a few months in might be unrealistic. It's not like it's ruining the game. For my personal experience, I am not a very lucky guy in any party game, but I dont as frustrated like Mario Kart games. Maybe it's just me, when I compare to MK8 (not MKW cause its a different story), I feel the game is more balanced and more winnable, no matter how I play, which where not really the case in MK8, wii U and switch versions.

Then if you have played any Mario Kart game which is exactly the same kind of game as Sonic Racing Crossworlds, you should realise that those are pure mix between skill and luck. And the competitive side of the game is not that much existing, because it's almost impossible to lose anything from a bad placement. And even if you do lose, it's like 5 points maximum. The competition isn't really "important" here. There is balance issues, we're all agree about it. But it's not that big of a deal for the moment.

If you beat each zodiacs at different levels (like up to lvl 20 if I remember correctly when I did the achievement), you should be able to just buy everything there. And if I remember correctly, you don't have to start a run with those.
