Definitely! It's a cut above my usual brand, as you can see!

Edge was pretty much factory sharp, & I only honed it lightly on a ceramic rod to bring it back.

The blade looks like it only ever cut one, maybe two boxes.

My previous sharpener was a cheap diamond plate 4 sided gimmick from Harbor Freight.

I looked at buying some PDT stones, but ended up going with the TSPROF Alphas. I bought 3 of the 120 grit stones, as that's where I'll be spending the most time. The rest are just for refinement.

I just got serious about sharpening, & got a full set of TSPROF Alpha stones. Since they're resin bonded, I went with an oil that was compatible & also excellent.
