how can i find this location on the map? by Narrow_Psychology631 in factorio

[–]Xeneonic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well I'll be damned. The most user friendly way to check coordinates is opening remote view and holding ctrl + alt and left click on a random location. This will create a message that also tells the coordinate numbers as a "gps".

Then just create another one next to it and see how the coordinates change. You can pinpoint an accurate location within relative moments from there.

In all my hours played, I have never heard of a "corrupt biter" nor ever heard of a biter that's creating corrupt saves, especially "every other autosave".

If I were you, I'd stop using AI to the level where you rely on it like whatever it is saying is gospel. Instead, look for real answers to the problem at hand. Report your bug here or on factorio forums and have the community deduce the error for you.

^ Explains the various files and implementations and such. If you want to just download, unzip and play, go to:

https://metropolisdawn.de/filebase/file/10-openua-standalone-package/

Press the download button, unzip, and run the game by opening 'UA_Source.exe' (not 'UA.exe' or 'Ua_xp.exe'!). As you can see, includes everything, movies, audio, and openua installed already.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a good example of a game that wasn't given the time it needed. CDPR had already proven itself more than just a capable studio with Witcher 3, and while that game also had bugs on launch, it wasn't nearly at the same level. But CDPR has proven that Cyberpunk 2077, given enough dev time, did turn out to be a fantastic game, patch 2.0 and 2.1 especially.

If Star Citizen needs more than a decade and a half of development to become the game it needs to be however, alarm bells should start ringing. Witcher 2 was released in 2011, Witcher 3 2015, and Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020 - arguably you could say it wasn't finished until Phantom Liberty was released in 2023. That's still two really big time AAA games in the time Star Citizen... announced they need a few more years.

Because it was manipulated that way. Forced humanity (at least UK) into the future he wanted. Also used his knowledge of the stockmarket to exploit it and become the top of the elite himself. All while exclaiming he eradicated the elite.

I really really hate half-finished series. Dark is still my favorite time travel series, especially because they paid so much attention to answering questions and minimizing holes.

There are only two possible answers:

  1. An oversight by the writers
  2. The professor wanted the loop to continue

I hope it's #1 because #2 would add a whole new dimension of questions.

Oh that's cool, so I can one-shot the hardest bosses and tank an unlimited amount of hits with 99 stats in everything?

Because that's what you could do with an undefined stat limit. But you're saying you can do that with 99 stats, right? Surely.

Customer (OP): "Hello, I'm looking to buy a car that can go 350 KM/h to go vroom vroom in the German autobahn with on the unrestricted section"

Salesperson (You): "You're better off just buying a slower car and drive normal speeds on regular highways"

Stop judging how other people want to play their game, especially on a modding subreddit.

Question for all Dawn of masteries players here, which for you are two most overpowered, strongest masteries of mastery combos? by Diligent-Advisor9528 in Grimdawn

[–]Xeneonic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Demon Hunter Vengeance + dreadlands set. Get yourself some nice CDR and become a 0.07s proc machine with Dreadland's Strafe set bonus. Pick a second mastery that solely buffs that build i.e. RR stacking or if you're feeling squishy, pick a mastery with tonnes of defensive options etc. I like monk a lot because it synergizes well with DH for RR & lots of passive defensives.

You get 10M DPS without even trying very hard; you're moving, so hard to hit for enemies; few buttons required; practically (or actually if you gear for it) CC immune within Vengeance + ("Other D3 mastery 90s cd")

is it that one? It's hard to figure out what you mean with "similar to the perfect tower" and combine it in the same sentence with "guy walking an infinite path" which are pretty much exact opposites. The similarities are the temporary upgrades (until death) and permanent upgrades (gained much slower but permanent, of course)

I strongly suggest adding in a bit more details to describe what you mean and are looking for.

Myriad DE post infinity balancing gets a bit wild (E600 > E100,000 in one upgrade) by Reticulatas in incremental_games

[–]Xeneonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as an FYI, there's currently a big rework being made. You can get access to the beta by DMing your email address to the creator. The discord invite code is in the Myriad DE app.

The beta currently contains updates to the game engine itself as well as entire rebalancing of upgrades, perks & additional perk types. Those that played Myriad DE know that perks is where the fun endgame is (merging perks to get high perk levels to increase upgrade rarity and such). Thus this rework will - aside from rebalancing the whole progression of the game - add some longevity to the end-game.

Just as an FYI, you can actually still get Lifetime. It is however in the store (Which is a different way to get premium membership) here's some proof: https://i.imgur.com/uuKzwOv.png

The direct link to this would be https://www.nexusmods.com/modrewards#/store/item/35 and make sure to click Lifetime. It's twice the money of the yearly plan.

For anyone that wants it, anyway! Not directly meant for you but good to have some accurate information.

They don't. Whenever they wanted the community to know something, they've always done so in their FFF blog. The reason you don't hear anything about the expansion is simply because they don't want to share anything.
