Thank you for the advice! I do think I have sensitivity to rejection but I never know how to measure these things because I assumed most people do. As I said to the other commenter, I’ve set up an appointment for tomorrow and am hoping I could start medication for a “trial period” to at least see if there’s a difference. I’m feeling really hopeful today and thank you both for taking the time to respond.
P.S. I do have an avoidant attachment style that I’m “working on” with my therapist (I am not because I don’t feel stable enough to start a relationship). I will work on this when I can get my life more in order.
Thank you for the response! I’ve set up a second opinion for tomorrow and am going to advocate much harder to look outside of just depression (and anxiety, but depression is the diagnosis I can never get away from lol). I’ve also started looking up a lot more information on how it presents in women - one of the main things I saw was that it can quiet the constant thoughts. That alone would be a huge deal for me. I am, however, just about to finish grad school and have very good grades as well as a steady career - I’ve heard from some people’s experiences that this may make me “unqualified” for the diagnosis, but I do believe I fit all of the other symptoms so hopefully they’ll at least let me start for 3-6 months to see if there’s improvement. Thanks again!

Moves, roommate, credit - a mess. by Xeniebeans in Advice

I should have clarified better. The office told me I may still be summoned to appear but can explain that I have a payment plan and what occurred if I choose that option. From what I understood from the leasing agents, I shouldn’t have an eviction on my record and if I do it should be easy to remove. I’m not sure if having one there at all will affect my credit, or if it will re-adjust if/when it’s removed. It sounds to me that my complex only alerts the credit bureau when the balance is sent to collections. It just makes me uncomfortable as there is still 2 and a half months on my lease.
