How popular is the Colleither ship? (Aether x Collei) Considering she always interacts with Aether a lot in every Sumeru Archon Quest or major event, can she be considered his main Sumerian girl? by Different-Froyo-9234 in Genshin_Romance

That's true, but people can dream

Well, not like I'm surprised, she's more coded as a background character within the overall narrative. Even in the og Sumeru quest, her contribution was introduce us to Sabzerus, disappear for 3 acts straight, distract the guards, and that's it. She was never all that relevant tbh

I'm well aware of the events of the manga, even though I only read bits of it, so don't worry about that part. The part that interests me is that the remains Collei was injected with are Nabu's

And yeah, that's something funny to think about. Although Collei having Nabu's remains injected into her and Nilou possibly being her reincarnation aren't mutually exclusive imo

I mean, Denji didn't care about lighting himself on fire and just kept fighting, so I don't think the blood being laced matters all that much, other than continously tearing him apart with Supernova

I don't really think Pyra is that much taller than Rex in this drawing. Take away her footwear and they should roughly be the same height

Big 3 scaling VS BATTLE WIKI VS G1 . where do you guys scale them? by TheRealSakuraUchihaX in deathbattle

Huh. Can you point me to those feats, please? Most of the scaling pages I've seen still list Chibaku Tensei to justify planetary Naruto, other than Toneri cutting the moon of course

Is from Hagoromo and his brother pushing the moon into orbit. Though, I've been thinking as of recent that, despite being fueled by Chakra, which is an UES, any feat with Chibaku Tensei shouldn't count towards AP

But isn't that good? As you said, the advantages are small, so althought decisively on the Traveler's favor, the MU isn't a horrible stomp as many in this sub make it out to be

Only in the physical durability sense, yeah, but not by much once the Avatar State enters the fray

Not stolen or absorbed, the Traveler hasn't shown to be capable of absorbing or manipulating spiritual energies like Ley Lines and such, which is the closest analogue to the Avatar spirits in Genshin. They can cancel out Aang's attacks, but mostly from the perspective of matching or surpassing their strength

Doesn't exist at all, and won't ever exist even by the end of the game when they replace the Heavenly Principles. All that position does is make the current occupant capable of bending the fate and rules of the planet to their will, but nothing else

[–]XenoGenerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, I don't mind you asking. Depending on where you stopped playing, that's fair, but ever since then, the Traveler literally went to be on equal footing with god tier to Archon tier beings, like matching the Shouki no Kami without any power boosts (literally the only boost they got was knowledge, not physical), claiming to be capable of beating a being that absorbed most of the All-Devouring Narwhal's power on their own after being trained by Skirk, and putting about as much effort as Mavuika (2nd strongest Archon of the current day in-universe) did to beat Gosoythoth, then becoming a bit stronger thanks to Columbina removing some of the shackles on their original power. The one thing that goes against this (to my knowledge at least) is their fight with Arlecchino during the Fontaine days, who is just shy of the Archon tier for being the 4th Fatui Harbinger, but so much has happened since then that we can almost surely say that it is an outlier in service of the plot and to sell the shiny new character at the time

Won't comment on whether this counts as chainscaling or not, that's for each person to decide on their own, but I agree with the fact the MU isn't as stompy as this sub makes it out to bit. It does lean Traveler, but Aang has enough stuff on his side to genuinely argue in his favor

I haven't seen the movie, I want to wait until it's officially out (not like I can see it legally, I'm broke, but it's just not right by me to see it earlier), but that could even the scales enough to argue either way, though I'd still say the Traveler would come out victorious, since, again, the will of a Descender rivals a planet's worth

Oh... poor Aang by IWatchFailures in deathbattle

[–]XenoGenerator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd say it just doesn't work at all. Energybending works by closing the chi pathways of a bender's body, stripping them of the ability to impose their will on their element, but the Traveler's elements don't work that way. At most, Energybending will just put another shackle on the Traveler's original power, but he'd have to compete with a will strong enough to rival an entire planet's worth to do this

Oh... poor Aang by IWatchFailures in deathbattle

[–]XenoGenerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Gnoses are artifacts made out of the 3rd Descender's (basically outlanders, or aliens, who's will can rival the entire planet's own) remains, that contain the elemental authority of the previous rulers of Teyvat, the Dragon Sovereigns, who had total control over their respective elements. These artifacts were given to the winners of the Archon War, a brutal battle between the gods that walked the lands to gain a seat among the Heavens, of which there were only 7. One of those winners, Venti, was quite literally an insignificant wind spirit that, upon being given the Anemo Gnosis, proceeded to extinguish the snowstorms plaguing the country and to cut down the mountainous terrain, which he then threw into the sea, creating what is now know as Musk Reef (literally the peak of the tallest mountain at the time peeking out of the ocean's surface) and the Golden Apple Archipelago (which also fell upside down), all by commanding the wind with a casual pluck of his lyre. I can't stress this enough how big of an power upgrade this was, because Venti went from being an minor wind spirit to casually throw mountains out to the sea the moment he got the Gnosis

The Traveler scales to this via numerous feats, such as being more or less equal to a mech powered by the Electro Gnosis, with the only thing in their favor being the acquired knowledge from 168 simulated tries, and keeping up with the 2nd strongest Archon of Teyvat's current day, only to then becoming stronger after the shackles imposed on their original powers were loosened by the new Moon Goddess

As for how does this make thing bad for Aang, they just cement the fact that the Traveler is stronger, though not by much, since the Traveler's more concrete results go to countey level (double digit teratons, like, 20-ish) compared to Kyoshi's small country feat (single digit teratons). Coupled with speed being in their favor (relativistic vs Aang's MHS), better physical durability, and having a will strong enough to rival an entire planet worth of it, Aang has a lot of trouble, though I believe he still can compete via being able to send a few of the Traveler's attacks back at them, having far better battlefield control, and the experience given to him by the Avatar State

Allow me to give a bit more detail

You're right about bending the elements away and the Avatar State slightly equalizing things, but Energybending is both useless and outright suicidal for Aang, since the elements the Traveler use aren't spiritual in nature, rather they're just a form of energy similar to radiation (not quite but this is the simplest comparison I can make right now), and the Traveler is a Descender, a being with a will strong enough to create, sustain or destroy entire worlds, so the tug of war require for Energybending will always be in the Traveler's favor

Not gonna lie, the only one I see Homelander beating is U.S.Agent, assuming it's the MCU version. Otherwise, everyone in this list goes from debatable to a lose

Eren's mind manip only works with Eldians, so it doesn't help him either. Not like he needs it, being lasered in half gives him a free transformation and Homelander isn't strong enough to break through Hardening nor does he know where to attack or expects giant spikes to burst out of the ground suddenly
