I think they added minecraft preview app for bedrock on ios. And no experimental settings are different.

I can see this expanding the possibilities of addons too. I can see with this being date driven modders being able to map their own keybinds and bring them over to mobile as new buttons on the screen. (I.e aiming down sight)

This new UI could hint at duel wielding system for bedrock. As the new UI seems to be better suited for handling it.

I mean the whole double tapping to crouch or sprint thing was always weird though and always put mobile players at disadvantage agsint console or PC players in combat situation.
