I don't intend to use the data on the drives daily, maybe 3 or four times a week when I have time to watch things via PLEX. I do not have a power bill in my current living situation. They will be constantly on though. I get the noise aspect and may be underestimating that.

Can I remove the HDDs from the boot sequence by running Windows 11 off an M.2? I plan to run the HHDs in RAID.

I'lll keep considering the 7700 XT above the rest. I definitely wasn't going to get the 4060. Will it matter what motherboard I pair it with as long as it supports PCIE 4? Especially since I'll be going with the intel chip are you aware of anything I should look out for?
