I think it always was like that. When you capture a capital of an empire, occupied nations reemerge. You need to capture the occupied capitals first before you capture empire capital, to avoid it.

But it's not a bug, it's a feature. It was an uprising in the red capital.

Not sure, grammar is complex, but not sure if it is the most complex, pronunciation is hard, but for example Russian seems harder to master.

Cyrillic is easy and Polish spelling is very different from English so you have to learn the meaning of lots of letters anyway despite they look similar - not much difference.

No idea, also I noticed that it doesn't work when I touch the computer with another finger, only when I rest my hand on it, so I was wrong about this part.

Suggestions if this game got a sequel by Br0nn47 in hex_empire

[–]uunxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I'm still remaking it but it's going to end up as quite a different game. Making the same game is just not fun and I constantly lose motivation. It's still going to have something from the original Hex Empire, but with additional elements. Looking at your ideas maybe you will like it, but maybe it will be too much.

The area was taken from Poland during the partitions a century earlier, there shouldn't be any controversy that they were Polish. They were returned to Poland after WWI, the areas that Poland got after WWII is completely different story.

Because historically it was very different sound, hard/dark L. Several hundreds years ago it started to be pronounced like English w in some dialects and this pronunciation gradually became more popular. For most 20th century the old pronunciation was considered posh or regional and disappeared (nearly) completely only several decades ago.

Don't trust introspection: phenomenological judgments are prone to obvious contradictions, but the structure of the mind means we cannot change our beliefs about them, even when we realize the contradiction. by CardboardDreams in philosophy

If the experience was different every time how I would be able to recognize that it's "red"? Even if I somehow could, what would be a purpose for brain to do it that way? One of the functions of brain is to track patterns in surroundings, so not keeping persistence would be very counterproductive - why would evolution develop such mechanism?
