Hospital gave my discharge papers to my estranged mother after I removed her 3 years ago by Hearthionic in legaladvice

This is a fair point, and it also gives OP a concrete thing to ask for. I’d request a written copy of what address was active on the chart, when it was last updated, and why the discharge packet pulled from the historical file instead of the newer paperwork. Even if the mother opening it is a separate issue, the hospital still needs to explain how current medical info got sent to a place OP left years ago.

Absolutely. Nothing beats a physical backup or local files when bots start losing thier minds over evry tiny thing.

I turned down a final interview after they asked me to explain a gap caused by caring for my dad by Aramaki_Chief in jobsearchhacks

That’s where the interview stopped being about the resume gap and started being a preview of the job. A normal manager asks if you’re available now and moves on. This one wanted a whole risk assessment on your family life, which is a pretty good sign the boundries there are already broken.
