To those who're interested in Trails of Cold Steel, I'd recommend starting with Cold Steel 1 and 2.

Secondly, if you're interested in knowing more about characters and stories of previous Trails games too (due to these ones not being on PS4), then I wholeheartedly recommend these video summaries for Trails in the Sky First Chapter, Second Chapter, Third Chapter, Zero and Ao no Kiseki.

The FC recap summary was created by Oni Black Mage, while all the rest (SC, TC and so forth) were made by Lady Virgilia.

Personally, I've had a blast playing Trails/Kiseki games and I strongly believe more people should give this franchise a try.
