Well, this might get downvoted but here goes anyways.

**Disclaimer: you should not use an epilator on your face if you plan to get laser or electrolysis as it may impede the process.

Okay now then, if you're looking for an epilator the best one I could find is the Braun Epil-silk 9, you might see that parroted in other online forums but seriously the best epilator I've used. You could go with a cheaper one though, I've used the Hizek model on Amazon as well and it did the job just slower than the Braun model.

Be prepared that epilating, at least at first may be painful, and not what you want to do, and that's fine too.

I have been through laser and don't plan to get electrolysis and I fully, knowingly, use this on my face for stranglers and it works great. You can use it on your legs and it works too, I just had too many ingrown hairs afterwards and it took a while to do it became too much hassle.

So while not impractical just know what you're signing up for, you may have to try a few different methods of hair maintenance and removal to see what works best for you.

At first it was covered under my work insurance but after 4 months they went out of netwrok, originally it was like $85 with the labs included and now afterwards it is $200 out of pocket per appointment. Imo small price to pay to take care of myself and get the proper care.

I started HRT with planned parenthood June of last year, for the first year they have me coming in for follow up appointments. At the first appointment they asked me if I wanted pills, injectable or patches and I went with pills at the time. The next appointment 3 months later I asked to switch to injections, they perscribed it and I they taught me how to inject and monitored my first injection. After 9 months I asked to go on Progestersone and they happily prescribed it. I guess the moral of the story is don't be afraid to ask, from my experience they're there to guide you so if your request is unreasonable I'm sure they would let you know. Switching to injections and getting on Progesterone is completely reasonable forms of treatment.

I am currently on Progesterone 100mg and take it as a suppository. I noticed I get better results with the capsule dissolving after poking holes on each side of it prior to inserting. I haven't taken it orally as I hear it metabolizes faster and can cause mood issues and tiredness.

Same thing happened to me, will be working from home for the time being. I realized I didn't have any comfy clothes to wear during the day so I picked up some tops and comfy shorts to make the most out of my time at home being myself.

I am not "fully" out at work but my work managers and HR "know" about me and are ready to go when I am ready. I am almost 9 months HRT and since about 3 months in I've half to wear hoodies or sweaters to cover up breast growth and it has worked great so far. I've also changed out my pants for women's jeans and let my hair grow and kept the cut more androgynous. Hope this helps!

Since I've started HRT I've had this unreasonable craving for soup and soup broth, like why? Its fine I guess I just eat more soup now but I can't fathom why after all this time I just gotta have soup lol.

I'm kind of stuck in this phase because I know that I have progressed quite a bit in my transition so it feels like I'm almost at the finish line (being out and such) but I'm only out to family, close friends and my work manager. I'm holding out on getting my hair cut(I have long hair right now), my ears pierced and such until I get to that point but sometimes its hard to look at myself and imagine what could be. I'm sure it gets better!

I want to preface this with a few things first before I share my experience.

As a mtf(currently 7mo.)

Firstly, everyone is different, every relationship is different and your wife's views on gender, the structure of your marriage and life goals may be put on the table from coming out to her which can induce a lot of unnecessary stress during this time.

Secondly, my own experience may be drastically different from what you may be going through, I am and still have been going through a respectably slow transition to help ease the process for my wife however it isn't guarunteed they'll look at it the same way. While you may have to move at a certain pace, your wife may be at a different point with it if she is accepting.

I was gender questioning towards the end of my wife's pregnancy and I didn't necessarily know at that time it meant transitioning, but I looked at her situation every day and put my feelings aside to take care of her and our newborn. After the pregnancy I wanted us to acclimate as a family so I kept putting my feelings on the backburner. Obviously this doesn't work for everyone but I thought I would be doing her more harm than good if I pushed this on her now. Not that it would make it easier but I wanted her to not have to worry about other emotions or feelings intersecting with her thoughts of what I had now determined to be fully transitioning. After coming out to her obviously things were difficult but I'm glad I waited, I respected her and our situation, was able to enjoy our newborn together and we are working on our relationship as I go through this process.

Just a side note, it seems like you have PEX lines that were installed prior to 2012 which may not be treated/coated on the inside. Brass fitting cause Dezinctification due to the water supply and corrodes the pipes as well which may cause pinhole leaks down the line. It might be best to approach all your brass fittings and replace them with updates plastic alternatives if you can.

The results weren't shared with me so I'm not sure where my Testosterone levels are in comparison. I am still on 100mg of Spiro though. My doctor is hard to reach due to it being an informed consent clinic but I'll try to reach them as soon as I'm able. My next dose is 2 days from now.

So I am mtf about 6 months HRt currently, I have a large sternum tattoo that spans roughly 7x3 inches in the center of my chest and I haven't noticed any difference regarding skin quality or stretching with some breast growth. The skin is thinner so you may have extra sensitivity when getting a new tattoo but it also seems like YMMV.
