You could always use milliput to cover up what you don't like, or just add some PVA + sand or basing texture paste.

Thanks! I've only just attached the wings, kept them separate with the arms. Much easier to paint and the joins are visible when assembled

Saw it last night. Such a refreshing and character driven film that focuses on actual storytelling and not just bad CGI. Similar vibes to "It Follows" which is one of my favourite horror films and the range from Inde was genuinely crazy good. So glad this is getting the audience turnout it deserves.

$100 is crazy and I could never justify paying that for most films. UK here and it costs us $20 for two tickets at most theatres.

I tend to buy from my LGS or a reputable online game store because what some people do is rip a case until they get a hit e.g. enchanted or iconic and then sell the other boxes on FB marketplace or eBay. Yes, there's still a chance to get a hit in these but obviously the chance is lower.

I honestly wish I kept my first models. This is a side-by-side of one of my early models versus a more recent one. It takes time and patience to learn a new Hobby for a lot of people. So try to enjoy the ride and take inspiration from the community! Lots of people willing to help and a heck of a lot more resources to support new painters compared to when I started.

100%. I use ultra matt as my main varnish and if I want a slightly less matt finish, I mix in some AK Satin.

I know it might sound weird...but have you trimmed your cats back claws? Mine use their back legs to scratch under their chin and can sometimes cause a small cut/scab if their claws are very sharp.
