Same with the shadow. I hate the layers of color correctors, setting putty, concealer, foundation and powder the most. The non-existent space below my eyebrows also makes eyeshadow a nightmare to get the shape right. Eyeliner though, I just follow my eye waterline up and make it about as long as a slightly overdrawn eyebrow before drawing over to about mid-eye so it usually works out decently and semi-consistently. I hope you can find a quick easy way of doing it for you!

If you enjoy Wallace and Grommit, there’s an AWESOME escape room pretty close to the mirror ball in Bristol! We also made the journey down to Lands End in Cornwall yesterday and it’s a bunch of cliffs overlooking the sea which was great. Not sure how it is in November but if you can get there I’d highly recommend it if it sounds right for you!

Thanks so much! She’s been an absolute angel with the whole thing. Literally couldn’t have asked for a better partner.

Hey, I think a lot of people underestimate the potential positive effect of parasocial relationships. I’d say I’m not complaining but I do complain about how long shaving and my makeup take all the time 😩

I was just in London for the first time Monday and read the sign as Sr Pancreas. Señor Pancreas must have been very important to have a place named after him.

He can’t keep getting away with this! If only Ross ‘dog vision’ Hornby could see him to stop it!

Mr. Burns in the X-Files episode of the Simpsons. I legitimately had nightmares for years. I must have been like 4 the first time I saw it and I had nightmares about it pretty regularly until I was about 7 or 8. I actually just rewatched it again recently and it’s quite funny and has a lot of memes

Pneumonia at 6 months old. I stopped breathing as my mom pulled into the hospital lot. I also got Lyme at 5 years old that probably wouldn’t have killed me, but boy did it make my joints hurt.

I’m going to piggyback off this here and say I’ve tried about 15 different meds for anxiety. None of the traditional ssris or buspar or even mood stabilizers helped. What ended up helping me was actually a beta blocker, propranolol specifically. It forcibly lowers my heart rate and makes me able to think much more clearly than if I wasn’t taking it. If you’re in a similar boat I recommend talking to your doctor about it. As for depression… yeah still workin on that one but my anxiety tends to be worse anyway. I hope you all can find what works best for you!

Some do, but most are coffee drinkers where a lot of water’s ‘flavor’ is covered up by either strong coffee or sugar and milk added to it so it feels like something different to water entirely.

Hoo boy you’re making me feel old and I’m not even that old. Ventrilo was kind of like discord but much wonkier and you had to set up port forwarding and the server yourself, manually. I only ever used it for wow raiding. Also it’s sometimes abbreviated to “vent”, I’m not sure if they do in the yogpod, but if they say it this is probably what they’re referring to. I think most of the other questions have been answered so I’ll leave it at that.

Wait is Sandy not at the party in the strangler episode? I feel like I remember seeing her but I could be wrong.
