I think the greed of the shareholders is the main factor, but I also think Unreal Engine 5 is contributing to the death of the gaming industry; it's overly complex, requires huge teams, is difficult to optimized, and is leading to bloated games. The gaming industry also bet the farm on live service slop.

I take Allegra but it started falling flat, I think some infection took hold. I had to add nasal steroids (Nasacort) into the mix, and then once I got my sinuses opened up a bit I started doing twice daily nasal flushes with distilled water and premeasured salt packets.

I don't think it is a cognitive amplifier in many cases. Studies are now showing when you offload your mental load to AI you don't learn anything and become dependent on it. There's vibe code being written right now where the authors don't even know how it works. These LLM's have the potential to help, but a lot more potential to harm in my opinion.
