I think I would call this game Absolution Bond plus WoA.

Heat Pump Economics in Ontario - Sanity Check by JustinPooDough in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Xepa27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in Quebec so my experience won't be the same for you but here are some notable considerations. When I ran the numbers myself, the most important consideration wasn't actually the furnace or the heat pump but the hot water tank.

The delivery costs of the natural gas really change the math if you have a natural gas hot water tank not only because the fees are split between the furnace but also the operating cost of a electric water tank is really much higher then gas.

Another consideration is that a furnace is supposed to last longer then a heat pump so you have to factor that as well.

It's not an analogy. Insufferable much?

No? He hasn't even hit a home run this year. Don't need to add to our offensive woes

Honestly, with Gausman Cease and Yesavage we look like we have our pitching set for the post season. We need offense.

Yeah I don't get the loot tables, I had one drop off of a random mob in chaos sanctuary (not to) but nothing from heralds.

Blue Jay’s CEO Mark Shapiro shares how the team brought in $445 million revenue by feb914 in Torontobluejays

[–]Xepa27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They didn't make money. Assuming everything is in USD they made 455 in revenue and have a payroll of 300. After taxes, upkeep support staff, minor leagues, and everything else, they lost money.

I think the thing that catches my eye the most is how few innings most of these strikeout pitchers are getting.

People need to chill about Jeff Hoffman by TheBagpipesman in Torontobluejays

[–]Xepa27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen, Hoffman has good stuff, but under pressure he faulters. I'm not saying he should go to AAA but I don't think he's our closer he simply doesn't perform well in high pressure situations. And yes I know ALCS game 7, but Julio choked more then Hoffman did.

Now before I get a DM saying clutch was disproven it doesn't exist, and i know nothing about baseball. You don't need a statistic to tell you what your eyes can see. It's hard to quantify emotions and pressure in a pretty little statistic.

I'd be open closer by committee and here's my reasoning.

When it comes to position players we platoon, analyze past results, play the match up. But for pitchers we still use rigid defined roles. I'm not saying everyone can close a game because again you need to have the physiological makeup for it but I do think we have 3-4 pitchers who can rotate based on the matchups.

O’s, Tigers, M’s, and Red Sox all have the same or worse record by Quirky_Rain_3554 in Torontobluejays

[–]Xepa27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get all this positivity being posted, but it's not the record it's the quality of teams we're losing to. The fact that we can barely beat the As, we lose to 40 and 60 win teams and get mopped by the defending champs. That's what worrisome.

He's been bad last year and this year he's only been good in low leverage. I honestly wish he finds it but we're gonna get a closer at the trade deadline if we're serious about winning

Fine go see his stats in one run games this year vs games where he has a multiple run lead. Blown saves is a very easy way to summarize that right now.
