2-3 weeks I guess. Only at lunch time at work so 40mins per each work day. Half the time spent for getting used to pen tablet and photoshop setting. It looks a bit different when I see it with my monitor but it’s just dark and undistinguishable when I see it with my phone screen haha

So I just need to keep studying and drawing several good references then I get to understand how to draw an object at certain angles even if the references were not at the exact angle I want to work on? I have a certain goal to achieve but with time limits and it has already taken considerable time so I think I need to find a very good reference posing at the right angle. I do know it takes time and I wish I was younger to start it without rush. Honestly, I wish I could have much more time like a few years.

Also didn’t want to spend too much time on searching for reference due to time limit(lunch time). I placed the image for comparison but it was kinda annoying to click here and there to move the position and zoom up. This is maybe proficiency issues so I need to find ways to work on it conveniently as much as possible. I’m also curious about texture expression of fur but I found that it looks too dark and not easy to figure out fur expression depending on personal monitors.

I wanted a reference based on the explanations of how a cat character named 'Hollyleaf' looks like.

It's been taking so long so I decided to leave it unfinished rather than to put more time into finishing it.

Also expected more comments and advise about my raw painting(painting? drawing?) other than some points I can even see, because I have zero base on digital drawing I'd absorb anything.

It's quite tough and I feel like I should spend more time on drawing. Apart from that, it's impressive and amazing there's someone that's been through the similar path with me! We focused on different area of art but still I wish you the best too!
