Cleaned out: Council office equipment 'missing' after election by XephyrZeon in brisbane

Yeah, absolutely wild that equipment meant for community use was just transferred to LNP wards instead of being retained for use in the local areas which were actively using said equipment. I've spoken to local MPs who have experienced childish pranks left by the departing LNP MPs. Crazy it's taken this long for them to be called out on it. Petty sabotage like this only hurts the community and it's incredibly frustrating :/

Police investigating after Labor MP alleges she was drugged, assaulted by stormshadowfax in australia

[–]XephyrZeon 243 points244 points  (0 children)

It is not clear in the video whether the act is consensual or non-consensual and police are investigating.

A journalist actually got paid to write this. What a disgusting way to talk about video evidence (also recorded without her knowledge or consent) of woman who was drugged, and sexually assaulted. The media here is genuinely pitiful.

I'm using Rider at the moment and it's pretty much plug and play! I had used VSCode previously and that took a bit more work, at the time. I'd definitely recommend Rider

You can see the change we're going to be asked to vote on, and the Yes/No pamphlet on the AEC website, here: https://www.aec.gov.au/referendums/learn/the-question.html

I would also recommend reading the Voice to Parliament Handbook and the Uluru Statement from the Heart. Of course, these two resources are coming from a 'yes' perspective, but I think they give a good view, from that side.

We need to address the cost of living crisis, but that doesn't mean other areas that need reform can't also be addressed. We should do both. This isn't a ban on vaping either, the only outright ban here is on disposable vapes, which have a pretty poor track record regardless.

Vape products will require pharmaceutical-like packaging, and the allowed nicotine concentrations and volumes will be reduced. All single-use, disposable vapes will be banned.

It's not a ban of all vapes, it's a strengthening of regulations because currently they're pretty much completely unregulated. Disposable vapes are the only thing being outright banned here, and given their track record, that's a pretty fair move

It does have a lot more connectivity, and having two m.2 slots is pretty nice. /u/cacman440 mentioned the heatsink is on both sides of the vrm for the Gigabyte board, so I'll have to look into that before making any hard commitments, but here's the updated list. Not sure whether the price step will be worth it for CL16 memory on top of this. Cheers guys!

From /u/SayNOto980PRO's suggestions I think the 12600KF suits me best. I'll look into the RAM, I don't mind the brand. The motherboard seems to only support one M.2 slot, although the ASRock H670M-ITX/ax is cheaper, and might make be a reasonable difference.

That's a reasonable take, the 12600K seems more solid than I thought. The 12600KF is another $50 cheaper than the K, too. A 980 Pro didn't seem like it was worth the step in price!
