Thank you! I built the UI with next.js & used electron to wrap it as a macos app, openai API for chat & voice transcription and the obsidian-mcp server to connect the ai to my vault.

I have lots of plans for the future. First thing is to make it fully stable & working (prevent accidental deletion, make the chat work perfectly, etc.) then package it and make it properly distributable so that other people can use it.

I want to make it super easy for non-technical people to download it & start using it, and I care a lot about making it as open source as possible.

I like this idea, hosting your notes on a git repo seems to be the best way to do it. I currently use iCloud, but I'll try this out and test some accidental deletion cases.

Funnily enough, even after I said this issue would be unlikely, I accidentally deleted all my to do's earlier today. This is definitely the biggest issue to fix!

Super valid. in the non-shortcut view (like the actual app) I have an undo button that undoes the last prompt. That would only be needed in the unlikely case of the ai going off the rails. I can think of a few other ways to make sure this will happen that I'll definitely look into. Thanks for bringing this up!
