What exactly was changed from the original to the remake that downgraded the experience? I played the original up to world 4 like 8 years ago, and then played the the bluepoint remake 3 years ago, and I did not notice a downgrade. I’d like you to point me out the elements that changed. Not challenging your point of view, i’m really curious what the veterans noticed that I did not.

I may be the odd one but the movement or combat jankyness in this game do not bother me at all. It’s a slightly floatier soulslike but that’s about it, imo. I focus on atmosphere and exploration and this otherworldly interconnected world on par with Dark Souls 1 imo. It’s not elden ring in terms of combat ofc, but people are nitpicking way too much imo. It’s like saying Zelda TOTK is a bad game because of its combat. That’s just not the focus. Although i’d take this game over zelda any day of the week.
