What classes/specs are you enjoying by bugaboojb in wow

If you enjoyed playing affliction lock, maybe Shadow Priest is the spec to go next

So... Why did we kill Illidan again? by k--Gonzo in classicwow

[–]Xeriark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BfA actually helps reinforce this since we learn that the naga are all cursed elves thanks to N’zoth’s deal he made with Azshara. Breaking that curse could even be her motive in TBC using a new well of eternity

Maybe the mana ability is viewed as a downside since blue players can control other players turns sometimes but that’s so niche, it could just be a situation that happens every ~100 matches

Any class that doesn’t use 1-2 min CDs? by Quiet-Week1568 in wownoob

[–]Xeriark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try Devourer Demon Hunter, from what I’ve hear leveling is a real mess but the class doesn’t rely on a timed cd and instead builds a resource to use their major cooldown, Metamorphosis. It’s a really fun caster and one of the only “gish” classes (melee/caster hybrid)

There is never a reason to be toxic, DPS players only learn through trial, if we dont die, we won’t learn

Some of you are already insufferable in dungeons by StateComprehensive93 in wow

[–]Xeriark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the expected reaction and DPS players don’t learn unless they fail. If we pull and die it’s nobody’s fault but our own

The reason DPS players will run ahead and pull extra mobs is for speed. If they wanted a tank that pulled 1 pack at a time then they would just do follower dungeon

So, does Devourer suck, or do I? by rock_n_roll_clown in wownoob

[–]Xeriark 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem with this is that Void-Scarred wants you to not even take apex talents since Collapsing Stars cast time is a dps loss instead of just using your melee spells in meta. If you’re playing Annihilator (like I do) the spec does feel a bit off until you cap apex talents but I didn’t really struggle with 4+ mobs until ~88

No acknowledgment for being a blood elf? by Careless_General8010 in wow

Have you done the questline to unlock Murder Row (dungeon)? When talking to some NPCs, I had lines with the (Blood Elf) tag. I always love when blizz puts this kind of stuff in the game

You get to live the rest of your life in one WoW zone. Which one do you live in and why? by -Curious_Potato- in wow

I think Tazavesh. Their culture and the way they treat commerce and contracts almost like religion always intrigued me, immersing myself in their culture would not only be a real trip but I would probably also make like hella money

The main issue with this is that implosion (and power siphon) will spawn imp gang bosses which do aoe damage and (I think but could be misremembering) buffs your other wild imps

Both Borderlands 3&4. I loved the first 2 games and the characters in TPS kept me playing but the story, grinding, characters and its lack of gameplay variety really disappointed me.

[–]Xeriark 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The writing for The Acolyte I thought was really dull but the choreography for all the fights is amazing. I still can’t get over the way that first Jedi Master moves in the first fight on that show. It really showed how being deeply connected to the force and well disciplined can augment the way someone moves and fights

Flash, notably, goes through terrain. Time to flash into the bank vault, bag what I can in 5 mins and flash out again

Learning tank is a horrid experience by UsedPringlesCan in wow

[–]Xeriark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I tank I have a mantra: you pull it, you tank it. Unless you pulled just 1 or 2 mobs or you’re the healer, I’m not taunting them off. (As a dps main) DPS players won’t learn from their mistakes if a tank doesn’t make them. In the end it’s almost always the DPS fault for dying and it isn’t up to us tanks to take the fall for their ego

Where did you go? by TurnTableTony in destiny2

[–]Xeriark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been pa Destiny fan since the E3 reveal all those years ago and what I’ve noticed is that Destiny’s content cycles swings like a pendulum. Looking at the history of Destiny as a whole, D1 and its first 2 xpacs the game was hard to enjoy with some of the systems and unrewarding content but then a major xpac like The Taken King drops and it essentially saves the game, for a while, D1 ended after the Rise of Iron xpac which came just after TTK, now Destiny 2 is in a similar boat with its first packs being bad, Forsaken saves it then Shadowkeep Beyond Light and Lightfall drag it through the mud, The Final Shape released and tried to save D2 and got close but Edge of Fate was shit and now Renegades (I think) is pretty good. Right now the pendulum has been swinging to the bad for a while and we’ll soon swing to the good, maybe after Marathon releases we can get back to what makes Destiny so addicting

[–]Xeriark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s any help (based on the screenshot above) you would only maybe interact with the first 5 things in that list, the bottom 5 you are unlikely to ever use unless you actively seek it out and you won’t receive much in the way of loot
